These are great utensils. They are strong and don't break often. Me and my partner have not gotten any splinters. The box also serves as a convenient utensil storage if you don't have any. There hasn't been anything I have eaten where I wished I had different utensils. Often I use the utensils for other house hold work where a strong disposal stick comes in handy. For me, being eco friendly and compostable was very important. I live in a remote area with low water. After using the utensils I can throw them in my worm bin and let them compost rather than having to haul more trash out. Value for money is great. I plan to order these utensils whenever I need more. For me these are 5 stars, I wouldn't want anything else. Downsides: All disposable wooden utensils have a woody Popsicle stick flavor. At first it bothered me, but now I don't notice. I think these ones have less woody flavor than usual Spoons are not deep. I think spook depth is a problem for all wooden utensils. If they were too deep, you'd get splinters. For me these spoons were effective at everything I ate, including yogurt and soups. My partner uses it to eat ramen effectively.

Nice forks for those who want to use less plastic. They are durable. They can be disposed of without regret. Great value for the money!

Excellent and strong. Used it for a party with streak and ribs and everyone was surprised how well they held up.

Good value and eco-friendly. Sufficiently solid. Knives and forks are excellent. Spoons a bit too shallow as there is not much of a bowl to the spoon

The wood is smooth, sturdy, and doesn’t splinter, and the utensils hold up well even with heavier foods. I really appreciate that they’re fully compostable yet still look clean and stylish on the table. Excellent value for such a large, eco-conscious set

I am pleased with this product, but as it is wood, don't expect your utensils to hold up well with frozen foods such as ice cream that is dense. Once the ice cream softens, it's fine, but the spoons will break in half if you try to use them like a metal one.

These utensils are fabulous! Not only are they beautifully designed, compostable, but they are easy to hold and use (no splinters; just smooth edges!) They are also attractively packed and arrived quickly!

There are compostable single use plastics, but of course Canada bans everything as usual. LOL. Now we can cut down trees that provide us oxygen instead and make these. Seriously though, they are very good alternatives to plastic utensils. I have run across the occasional rough one, but that seems to be the normal for all these wooden utensils. I especially liked these ones over the more recent ones I've purchased.

Cet ensemble est parfait pour les réceptions, le camping et autre. Un peu moins pour le quotidien (exemple : en longues rénovations sur plusieurs semaines je déconseille). Sinon, c'est absolument parfait!

I love that it is a four-piece set and allows me to use one product instead of four different ones. Compostable and very light. My guests were very pleased with the consideration for the environment.
