I always get this toner it's the only one I've been able to find that gives my hair the white look I always try to get it's the only one that doesn't make it ashy looking. Just make sure your hair is bleached light enough for this toner or it won't give you the results you're looking for.

From level 2-3 Dark Brown Box Hair Dye to $350 Professional Hair Dye Removal (8 hrs bleach - omg!) to Orange ends. One year grow out natural white / gray hair! To several toner attempts, different products! To now: 20 Volume+Toner in equal amounts (full tube on collar length hair), for 6 minutes. Wash, condition, protein mask!

This is a great toner if you want white hair with a gray undertone! Some things to know before you use though: it WILL NOT give you the results you want unless your hair is already a high level ten with minimal yellow. If your hair doesn't look platinum YOU NEED TO BLEACH AGAIN. Second, if you leave it on as long as the box says IT WILL TURN GRAY. If you want white I suggest leaving it on for 5-7 minutes. If you deposit too much color you can always fade it with a few washes using a clarifying (or dandruff) shampoo.

I LOVE white hair. I'm like obsessed with it. I've had it toned professionally at the salon before, but I want to be able to keep up with it myself, too!I am not a stylist and know nothing about hair. But I read these comments and got the Ion 20 Volume Sensitive Scalp Developer like people said and as you can see from the photo....there is white.Next to it is a comparison of my hair color pre-tone (the yellow color, again I'm not a stylist so I really messed this up and missed a few spots but on the plus side, it helps for providing a comparison for all of you to see lol)After trying several purple shampoos and a purple mask that I was hoping would help me to get white hair, I gave up.But thanks to this product I can actually achieve my goal of maintaining white hair....if ai get better at applying it of course.

I put it in my hair my hair was yellowish and small parts had pink on it.I put the toner in and it turned my hair grey and the pink parts turned purple.
