I don’t think so. Actually it is meant to be just for stainless steel. Just make sure just spread on the stainless part. Like for instance I use it in my non stick fry pan than is stainless steel on the round bottom in the outside. And so far works wonder I just dabbed it with a paper towel.Hope this help.

my wife is using it every week to clean ceramic stove

It is very safe to use in anything stainless steel as long as you rinse it well
