For the cost, this is an amazing scale. Deducted one star because it 'wanders' a bit.For example: Tare your lab ring = 25g -> 0gAdd your boiling flask = 650gWait a minute, remove your boiling flask, lab ring now weighs -4gRemove lab ring, scale now shows -30gThis is an easy problem to overcome by doing quick measurements, multiple times. For $12, this is a really good, fairly precise, high capacity scale. Definitely recommend.

Wouldn't measure anything less then gram

First: I was going to give this five stars but they (mistakenly?) included a second metal platform that was razor sharp and merely picking it up sliced my finger. Guys, just sand or grind those edges down and you won't have this problem.Review: Just received this in the mail, set it up, and it works great. The two trays are convenient and clean, the buttons are responsive, and the size is pretty ideal.

Will not change from grams to any thing else. Terrible instructions. Let's you guess how it is supposed to work. No graphic to indicate what each key does or is supposed to do. Batteries all leaking upon arrival. Tossed them out. Horrible scale. Low quality. I may return it.
