This is actually my 4th RainPoint timer, so I am a happy customer of theirs. This product, like all the ones I've purchased from them, works as advertised. There are a couple caveats, however, that you'll want to know before you choose which timer is for you.Two of my timers are similar in design to this, but they are single-zone timers. This one, obviously, is for two separate hose connections. This allows you to set two zones from the same water spigot. This is almost like having two single-zone timers in one, except there is one major difference. Like the single zone timer, I can say "water at this time, for this length of time, and this often." The single timer, however, has "how often" in hours and minutes. This one has "how often" in DAYS.So if you intend to be watering every hour for one minute at a time, that's not going to happen with this timer. If that's the case, get the single zone timer and get creative with splitters or something. This would be more appropriate for larger watering projects, like watering two large zones every other day for 1/2 hour at a time.BUT, this timer does also have the ability to set three programs per zone. Therefore, you can have each zone run on an independent schedule multiple times per week.All of that said, it is the same quality product I have come to expect from RainPoint. If I had to make suggestions:1. Have someone proofread the instructions a little more carefully. I saw a couple errors in it that threw me off for a second.2. As with my other outdoor timers, I am terrified of one of the hose connections breaking. That appears to be a weak point in the design, and I had to return one once because the connection had broken. Great product. It was easy to program both zones and very intuitive, I didn't even need to look at the directions. It was even easy when I started both zones manually to test for leaks.I did a lot of research and looked at the reviews for the best timers. I wanted the most reliable timer. So, I decided to go with Rainpoint and purchased a single timer, which has worked nicely. I needed to purchase more timers to replace two old ones. Instead of buying two timers, I decided to buy this two zone timer. I've lived at my property for 30 years and used a variety of timers. I like my decision to use Rainpoint, which has a good warranty and product.The display is easy to read and I like the sturdiness of the setting dial and the hose ends. I won't have to worry about breaking them off. I do use plumbers tape, but I probably didn't need to. They cinched tightly with the hoses and faucet. No leaks.So, if you're overseeding, need to keep your grass green, or don't want to remember to turn the water off, this timer will work great.

I’m really impressed with this timer. At first glance it’s well constructed. The installation and setup was easy. Fit was tight, no leaks. The zone setup instructions were easy to follow and worked exactly as they should. The rest of the settings I tried worked well. My only feedback is getting used to the manual setting is a little tricky at first to get the timing down. An I wish there was a way to not have manual watering timed/easier to leave it non-timed. Overall great value, good quality and works great.

In short an excellent timer, but their other one is better.This is my third rain point timer. I'm a pretty happy customer. The other two I own are this model, link at the bottom.This timer's programing is different, you can still do every day but the others that I own I like the controls more. You can select every (x) day this one you have to select each day you want it to water. Tiny point but still waters every day, and has all the other features.This timer is slightly larger than their others, but feels well made and also has a warranty, though it's just for a year, the linked below has a 5 year warranty.The timer works but might need a little more protection from getting wet. The media could not be loaded.  Bought a Rainpoint 2 zone sprinkler back in May and was initially using it in manual mode. I have 2 zones (cactus, flowers) and this fit the requirements. Today, I started programming the unit by going through step by step (setup clock, start time, duration, interval etc.). Everything worked flawlessly. I had to figure out a way to setup the unit to water the zones daily and this took some time for me to figure out. I briefly watched their youtube video also. With warranty and ease of setup, I am happy with this unit.
