As previous reviewers have noted, installing this cover is NOT easy. I decided to not take my wheel off but now wish I did. I’m a large guy and it’s very hard to get the appropriate angles to sew everything correctly. The instructions are basically pointless once you get to the sewing step. I looked up videos on YouTube for help since I have zero experience with a thread and needle. I’ve competed sewing 1/3 sections and am happy with the look and feel. The instructions are very clear about trying to perfectly align the three spokes...do this. Tucking the leather overhang in the steering wheel creases requires the leather to be properly placed with just the right amount of overhang at each spoke. This will make more sense when looking at the directions and leather.If you’re a patient person and need to cover up a peeling oem wheel, this is a fine option. I would suggest setting aside 5 hours for install, this includes time for researching how to remove the wheel, looking up videos on sewing, and potentially redoing any sections that don’t come out “just right”. If you finish quicker than that, then great, kudos to you.

This is an excellent heavy steering wheel cover. It is sturdy, cut perfectly, and feels great on the hands. It is very hard to install, but there is really no way around that. A tucked in sewn onw steering wheel cover is going to be hard to install no matter what. The thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the sad state of the instruction. You can reference a few key points, but in the end pretty much have to figure it out for yourself. It took me nearly 4 hours to install, but one hour was spend figuring out how to remove my airbag and the steering wheel. It is not necessary to remover the steering wheel, but if I hadn't i would likely have given up half way through the install. It was a chore to install with the wheel off, I can't imagine doing it with the wheel on.

Looks and feels awesome. Took two hours, I am positive that if I were to do another I could install in less than an hour. But if you read the instructions carefully it says to stitch through the leather for your first pass and then through the stitching on the cover. I ran it through every other stitch one way and then back through the empty stitches on the way back giving a nice X pattern and am very pleased with how it turned out.

At first I was skeptical about buying this, because these sellers have a habit of making the item look great in the pictures, but when you actually get it, it's something else. This, however, if done properly looks almost the same as factory wrapped. One thing to note, on the instructions, it says about 40 minutes for a skilled person. I'm a DIY kinda guy, and this took me about 2 hours. That being said, once you follow the instructions, it looks great. Another note, make sure you line up the leather before you start any stitching, and make sure the seam is kind of to the back of the steering wheel, so you don't see it as much, and don't ever get the thread tangled, it's a nightmare! Overall a great item and worth the money and time.

I'd really like for this to work, but when I tried I just couldn't get it right. I took the steering wheel cover off and on a few times and then gave up.I wonder if theres a place to go to have this professionally put on my steering wheel? At this point that's the only way it's going to get on! I definitely do not have the patience or bandwidth to do it myself.Also, as said in other reviews, the instructions that come with it are not well written. I looked up instruction videos which make it look much easier than it is. It's not rocket science, anyone can probably do it, it just entails patience attention to detail.

Well I have to say I surprised myself… Subaru does not make an OEM replacement leather cover, so this was my only real option. After taking a leap of faith, cleaning the steering wheel well, and setting up a clean area to work it only took about an hour to install. I have no prior experience doing this, went in with very low expectations… But was pleasantly surprised with the final results. They give you extra glue tape and thread so you can rework a section or two if you’re not happy with your first results… If you have patience this is for you!

The product is good quality leather. Looks great on the car, however the instructions were not very good or clear (other wise 5⭐️)

The media could not be loaded.  Not what I expected for the price, several design compromises such as thin leather, not high quality leather either. It's definetly face third party not OEM design so it's not going to replace your beautiful original leather steering wheel you need to be a technician to do that as you need to remove all the plastics and the airbags safely this is just a blanket to put over your steering wheel probably suitable for a teenager's hot rod car but not suitable as an implement of class on a vehicle that an adult loves and drives everyday.Check out the video

This steering wheel cover is great. It fits perfectly on my 2015 Forester. I would recommend it.However it get only 4 stars as it is very frustrating to install. Give yourself lots of time. My wife and I took about 6hours. We worked on it a few hours each evening. But it’s Covid, where are we going anyways?The instructions are not clear so look up videos on YouTube. And take your time. Do not rush or you will spend more time fixing your mistakes then actually installing it. It will work out in the end and look great.

Happy with install. Does take a while to install requires good music and patience in driveway. Worth the effort though feels good on the car.
