This is a quality umbrella. I wanted a J-hook umbrella for walks in the rain because a short-stemmed umbrella is not very comfortable because you have to hold it up higher, which kinks your elbow. The size of this umbrella is good for my walks because I can lean it against my clavicle without it being too heavy.

nice works well

I normally buy and use compact umbrellas that I can carry in a backpack or a small shopping bag. I generally don't use the longer umbrellas. But I did need something a bit larger and of a better quality for some errands I must do in the rain, so I thought I would try this full-size umbrella.I was quite surprised at how nice it is. This umbrella is very lightweight. It's lighter than my smaller umbrellas. The materials appear to be of at least good to very good quality. the canopy material does not feel loose or loosely connected to the frame. It's very tight. The handle has a nice feel to it, in terms of the material used for the finishing.The umbrella opens fast and is easy to close. A large press-button latch is simple and does not require a hard push or a lot of strength to operate. It's what you would want in an umbrella!Given how lightweight it is, it's easy to carry around. When folded, the entire length is 36".Totes always was at the forefront of umbrella manufacture, and this model should satisfy those who want this type of style and length.While I have not yet been caught in a huge wind-driven rainstorm with it, it should perform better than any other umbrella I currently have in a somewhat harsh rain.It also comes in numerous colors. I chose Moroccan Blue. Very nice!Overall, I like this umbrella. I really think you will, too!
