Dog/pet Door Replacement Flap Compatible with PetSafe Measures 8 1/8” x 12 7/8” PAC11-11038 -2023 New Model

This replacement flap was exactly what I needed for my PetSafe medium dog door. The sizing was accurate, and it fit securely without any modifications. The adjustable holes at the top made alignment easy, which I appreciated. The material feels thick and well-made but still soft enough for daily use. The magnetic closure does a good job keeping the flap closed, especially on windy or colder days. Installation was straightforward and quick, even for someone who isn’t very handy. I also like that it includes two flaps, so I won’t need to reorder anytime soon. After installing it, the door feels more sealed than before, and my dog adjusted to it right away. Overall, very happy with the quality and performance.

This is easy to install. With the extreme cold, the old one got brittle and broke off. I was afraid I would have to replace the whole dog door. So happy this worked out.

The quality and pricing of the replacement door was very good but it does not hold in place very well. On windy days I need to close off the door entirely. Would like a suggestion on how I can improve the fit.

My screen door came with a puppy door already in it from Home Depot. After 18+ years it wore out! These replacement flaps needed a bit of trimming but worked out every well and the dogs began using them immediately.

It does not fit! Too wide and too long! Had to trim it and it doesn’t seal properly on width or height. What a waste of money and time! Now, during a snow storm I have to wait 5 days for the right one to come in. Frustrating

I bought this flap to replace a name-brand PetSafe PAC11-11038 flap. Compared to the name brand, this has more flexible material and it seems to close better. The flap itself seems better quality than the original and doesn't have any annoying logos on it either. However, there is a major flaw. The supplied magnetic bar at the bottom has incorrect polarization. It will not attach to the magnetic bar on the door frame. Instead, it is repelled by it and only wants to attach to the sides. Luckily, I was able to take the magnetic bar off of my OEM flap and use it on this one. But the magnetic bar that came with this flap should not have arrived with incorrect polarization. Flipping it 180 degrees did not fix the issue either. Either a defective design or a manufacturing issue.

I measured the opening before ordering--important. The door installation requires a screwdriver--that's all. It fits very well and is a good, solid weight. Opaque, not see through, but my dogs are used to going in and out and don't seem to care.
