Good price but loud. For my use the noise is not too bad but I could see it being a problem if close to a vent.

I was a little concerned after reading the reviews about noise & vibration, but gave it a shot. Install was easy, I just swapped out the plug and directly wired as I had it pre-wired with no outlet nearby, and I used the STAYGROW 2 Pairs of Adjustable 1/8" Rope Ratchet Hangers which made installation very easy. A roll of duct tape and a few self tapping screws to secure the fan and all was good. It has excellent air flow (replaced a much bigger old squirrel cage box fan) and is super quiet.Totally impressed for a $40 fan

i was skeptical at first when reading other comments for sure, I ordered anyways because price and specs, get speed control to on high is good for shop work welding cutting wood, work at night low is actually a nice white noise Ill buy another when needed still working on duct system, suction is like a vacuum

If being stealthy is your objective, then this isnt for you, deff go with a quieter inline fan. This thing sounds like a jet taking off when ya plug it in , would deff wake ppl up if this thing kicked on . GREAT QUALITY AND PRICE BUT IT IS VERYLOUD . IM hoping that once the speed pot is hooked up. #1, so I can slow the fan down enough to quiet it down #2 slowing the fan down will aid in the removal of all unwanted particulates and smells..
