These are very pretty and roomy too. I usually wear 8.5 - 9. When I ordered these I had to choose between 8-8.5 and 9-9.5, so I chose the 9-9.5 EU 40. It wasn't the right choice. They didn't give European sizes on the chart. I found the chart confusing. I needed EU39. You don't need to go up in size. I'm going to have to return them.The top of my foot is not squeezed into the shoe. There's plenty of room for your foot, and your toes won't be scraping the upper underside of the shoe. I don't think it would be that much different in my correct size. The material is solid, but not solid like a shoe. It's soft, "softish", but formed.The wedge is 3" including the platform, so it's really only a 2" upsweep for your foot. The braiding is not falling off the glue.I can't say as to the wear of the shoe because I'm not keeping them.* I write reviews to let you know how this product was for me. and to aid you in making your decision, to buy or not buy.

Cute and Comfortable but NOT White... more Off-White. Needed WHITE rather than an Off - White shoe.

The shoes are very cute but cut a little big.

The rope around the heel starts coming off too early. I was able to glue it down easily enough.

I loved these shoes. I did by them in 2021 but never wore them until this year.I probably wore them 6 times and then the left strap broke. I was so disappointed because I was going to go on the site and by another pair. I did get the shoe repaired to continue wearing because I love these shoes and then the strap from the right shoe broke. Very disappointed.
