How would two of these vases look on a Fireplace mantle?

10"L x 10"W x 19" high. Made of very thick glass and very very heavy. If your are referring to a mantle or shelf above the fireplace, the width should be more than 10 inches. I would not recommend placing them on a high shelf above fireplace for fear of anything that could cause them to fall off. If you are referring to the mantle floor piece around your fireplace, they would be secure and lovely. That is where mine is placed.

Is the grey a blue grey color or more like pewter?

It is a deep blue grey, not pewter (grey). It’s a lovely color that compliments marble counters well. It’s not a sea blue (lighter blue).
