Best knife for your buck.
I own about 100 knives ranging from $10 knives to $130 spyderco/benchmade knives. I bought the honey badger with the expectation of a $30 knife. I got it in hand and have decided that I like this knife better than my benchmade griptilian and spyderco para military 2. This thing has a flipper, a hole for the "spydie" flip, and ball bearings!? The steel may be 8cr 13mov, but that's how they keep the price at $30. I plan to buy every option I can on the honey badger.

Outstanding knife. A great tool at a good price.
Quality is outstanding. Lightweight, thin handle, good grippiness, and perfect grinds. Just all-around great craftsmanship and utility. And I personally think the Wharncleaver looks pretty badass. I got the D2 version, and so far it performs and strops like good D2 around 60-ish HRC. Light, useful EDC shaped blade, long-wearing D2, decent price. Are there other brands and knives out there offering D2 for bit cheaper? yep. But this is right up there in quality, and isn't a lot more. Since much of knife selection is about what appeals to you, I mean, c'mon, after 1 pocketknife it is really about the joy and appeal (unless you got a main and a backup), this knife has an appeal. And I might say it has something that many other knives don't. They might have the same, or even a bit better, fit and finish, or a thinner grind, or a number of many things. I have found that many knives just don't have character, or a soul, if you will. This one has that in Spades. If you like it, buy it, you won't regret it. If you aren't sure, and the looks don't grab you and another one does, then buy the other one. If you think it looks too cheap, rethink things. It is rugged, with a thin, contoured handle that is basically tough fancy plastic covering full liners. It is as rugged as any good linerlock, and it will perform. If you are mad it doesn't come in Damasteel and Timascus, then you should probably pass. But you weren't even looking at this little beauty, were ya?All in all, a great little knife. Not the cheapest, in every sense of the word, but of high quality, dependable usefulness, and an outstanding EDC capability. And it looks cool. Honey Badger don't care though.

Honey Badger wharncleaver
Very happy and pleasantly surprised with the quality of this knife. I have several high end folders but prefer a lower budget edc for around the house use. This checks all the boxes, good edge, comfortable handle and excellent well placed jimping. Actually the entire fit and finish is very good. I wish the finger choil was the same size that’s on their drop point version as it’s smaller. I also have the medium drop point and the choil is perfect. At $35, this knife just blows the doors off of similar priced knives with it overall quality. And throw in the easy flipper fidget fun, fantastic.

Picture is WRONG!! Wrong product delivered... Exasperating deal !!
8/6 🚨 Knife replaced by mfg after a week... a real beauty!! Product I should have received shows choil, which I wanted... product originally shipped by Amazon had NONE!! ...did not meet my state law 😂. Told by mfg that photo was an error and would be corrected.... after nearly a week, it hasn’t been. 😂 At least one other buyer reports same... I’ll bet there are more!! Knife is very nice if it meets your state law! Price for plastic handle and lack of D2 is a bit high. I await replacement... it’s been a very, very long week!!

Much nicer than expected
I bought this as a cheap knife to take on my cruise ( I didn’t want my good knife confiscated if they found it.). However, I find myself carrying this thing all the time now. It is light and ungodly sharp. The flipper on the blade makes for fast and easy opening under all conditions. The bearings are so smooth that is absolutely satisfying when you snap open the blade. It is not as sturdy as a Spyderco, but it is more than functional.

Quality Knife at a reasonable price!!
Probably one of the best knives for the money! Quality and craftsmanship, rank up with knives that are much more expensive. I’m not a “steel snob” so this is perfect for my needs, I often oil and sharpen my knives... so even though it may not be D2, S30V, or some of the higher end steels.... this knife performs perfectly and will serve you well!

Another Great Knife
This is my fifth Honey Badger. I have a large, two mediums—one one in D2, a small and now this medium Wharncleaver. I bought this one on a whim just to check it out. Holy smokes, it’s another great knife!! Unlike the one I got in D2, this one came with a great edge and that ultra smooth Honey Badger action. If you’re trying to decide whether to buy one ... just do it. You won’t be disappointed, especially for less than $40. My only complaint is the steel. Please, just retire the 8Cr13mov and give us the whole line in D2. It would be worth the increased cost to have better edge retention.
