SNS Air Pressure Regulator Female Thread 1/8 NPT 0-150 PSI Adjustable, Bracket, with Gauge AR2000-N01

Yea, this is darn near perfect. Airflow is on the low side, but to be expected of this size regulator. Its build and quality are excellent. I mean perfect. This is OEM replacement quality, in my case better.This went onto a portable Hitachi commercial grade compressor. Space is tight, so I had to remove the new diaphragm and knob, mount it, then re-assemble. Easy stuff, and apart it's build quality is even more apparent. Nice.This can be said to be a 4 port, but it's really a reversable 3 port. That is 1/4" in and out ports (directional), and two opposing 1/8" ports with a plug. Meaning you can orient this either way and just move the gauge. Perfect!I suppose I don't really know how long it will last, but it's built so well I don't expect problems. Easily worth the few extra dollars over the cheap plastic alternatives.Update: I like this so much I just bought another for a different compressor!

See below for what I think of the manufacturer, the seller and the provided documentation.This Regulator, 5-Stars: This regulator functions well with plenty of air flow. It's easy to adjust and holds its set pressure very well. It does not leak, with this caveat: When installed correctly! No doubt many others have returned this regulator because they have installed it backwards, which causes it to leak and hiss under the adjustment knob. Meaning, it has been installed with the compressor air-flow going into the OUTLET port and the air hose hooked up to the INLET port.The Manufacturer, 1-Star: The regulator I replaced, and others I looked at, had markings showing the direction of air flow embossed into the casting. This one does not. Meaning, you have a 50/50 chance of hooking it up in the correct direction. In my case, my compressor's air flow moves from the piston on the right to the air hose left. I had to remove the 1/8" NPT plug from the opposite side of the regulator and install the pressure gauge on that port. And then install that 1/8" NPT plug into the port with the orange rubber plug.The Seller and/or Manufacturer, 1-Star: NO INCLUDED DOCUMENTATION. If either one had simply included markings or a sticker on the casting, or included a sheet of paper with a diagram showing the direction of air flow, I am positive there would be a lot fewer returns for "leaking and defective" regulators. Me included.After dealing with these issues and finally finding the included diagram from the Amazon product listing page, I got it to work perfectly.

For $36 it works solid. Compared to some models that are double or triple, works with no leaks

This is a nice solid regulator from what I can tell and I hope it lasts a long time. Be aware of how it mounts AND its IN and OUT ports, which is not clearly marked. Note that the bracket that holes it is only attached with a simple PLASTIC ring nut at the top. The bracket has a slight indent to press against the body of the regulator to keep it from spinning. I feel that could be made better or a better bracket attachment to the body. Also you cannot mount the bracket with the tab downward to the body of the regulator due to that indent missing for the other side. If you mount it that way, it will just spin around in that bracket.

After spending enough on my compressor I didn't feel like spending hundreds on a regulator so I bought this 1//2 inch one for thirty eight bucks. It is working fine maintaining 90 psi with an air grinder while provided with 175 psi on the intake. The plastic bowl is protected by a metal shield that comes off with a push of a lever and a twist. Inside the bowl is a sponge bronze filter that is held on by a plastic nut that you turn to take it off and hold it in place.The bowl itself has an o-ring at the top to prevent leaking. The regulator comes with a 1/4 MPT gauge and a bracket that I didn't use, with screws. I had a problem with leaks at first but I don't think it is the regulator's fault. The 1/2 inch pipe threads are about an inch long and seem to have a taper. The problem I had was with the hex nipples. They do have tapered threads but not consistent and not long enough. I had to select the side with the most taper and screw it into the regulator all the way until it bottomed out in order to stop the leaks. I have used 1/4 inch nipples like these and have had the same problem I don't allow any leaks in my system no matter how small. I included a photo of my hour meter that I set up using a project box that I also bought on Amazon. The meter is wired in parallel with the motor. I am satisfied that the regulator will do the job it is intended to do and have given it five stars.

Installed two days ago. Seems to work fine. The gauge was bent up and unusable is the reason I only gave it a three star. Only option is to return it and need the regulator so didn’t bother. Don’t know why Amazon won’t let you reach out to the supplier unless you want to return the order. Also one of the threaded ports had to be chased with a tap to get the fitting to screw in straight.

Works great for my application

As described, appears to be a very good casting and good machining, it appears to be well worth the money.Only complaint is the gauge, it's threaded undersize and I couldn't use it as it would bottom out on the wrench flats before tightening up on the threads even using teflon tape. I ended up buying another guage, it was definitely the gauge that was machined wrong as I tried multiple fittings in the regulator and they fit well. I also tried the gauge in my old regulator and it would bottom out on that as well.

Works as it should.

Ich nutze den Regulator für mein Wolverine Inferno Gen2 HPA System und die refreshrate ist sehr gut und ich nutze eine normale Flasche mit 850Psi Ausgang und 1/8 npt Adaptern. Bin sehr zufrieden.

I was impressed at the quality and workmanship of this air regulator. It came in a very nice box with pressure gauge and mount separate. Very easy to install in my application. No leaks. Gauge is easy to read. Would definitely buy again.
