Wait for the beep that is longer and different in tone from the other beeps. App on iPhone 6 Plus works fine for us!!!
I have to admit that I was afraid to buy this product because of some reviews here, and the majority of the reviews in the app about it not working on iPhones. But we decided to go ahead and give it a try anyways. The biggest reason to get the camera is that we have 3 small dogs (all rescues) that have separation anxiety, so we need the cameras to be able to see and talk to them when they start to panic. We use two old android phones, an iPad, and an iPod as cameras, all looking at different angles just so we're able to see everybody at all times. The dogs concentrate on one room when we leave but we still have one of the devices in another room just in case.We ordered on the 5th and it was delivered yesterday in the afternoon(1/9/18). We did the burn-in for 24+ hours to make sure it would hold without problems, and it worked perfectly. With our devices we would lose connection several times a day or they would turn off when the computer would go to sleep. They had to be connected at all times and we noticed how the two android phones were getting hot so, we decided to get a camera. The Tenvis' set up was pretty easy. It took exactly 5 minutes for the camera to stop beeping once turned on. We thought it was going to be just a few beeps (it beeps a few times then stops, but then keeps beeping) but the last beep is very different from the others and that lets you know that the camera is ready. If you try to connect to the WiFi during beeping process it will give you an error. After the beeping stops the WiFi set up is lightning fast. No port forwarding was necessary. We had other IP cameras that needed port forwarding, and that can be a headache when you don't know how to set it up. With the first camera we had to call our ISP to ask about port forwarding and they said we had to pay $19.99 extra every month for that (we did not know nothing about PF ) so we just hit the internet and figure it out ourselves, but that took an entire day because of how complicated the camera setup was. Also, the booklet tells you to scan the QRCode and we assumed it was the one in the booklet but it wasn't. It is the one IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CAMERA itself. The image is very good for a camera this price. The sound is also very good, and loud (we needed something that would allow the dogs to be able to hear us talking over all the barking and howling ).The motion sensor and notifications work really well. We did hit a tiny snag with GMail. We registered for email notifications but received a notification from google saying that allowing the app could bring privacy issues. I solved that by making another email account specifically for the app (takes less than 30 seconds), and was able to link the account without any problems. The ability to preset camera positions and just "call" them is a big plus that we weren't expecting. We will purchase two more cameras to have the entire apartment covered (bedrooms). We absolutely love this camera and have nothing to complaint about it so far. I will come back and update in a few weeks.BTW, the iPhone app is working fine with no problems. We have the 6 Plus model, and have no issues with the app.UPDATE:3/1/18I rarely write reviews but when I do I like to update them. So, here we go. We bought this camera back in January and received it on Jan 9th. The camera still works flawlessly!!! We've just had a tiny problem with it. It is set up high on the wall (ten inches from the ceiling) and we needed an extension cord to plug it in. The problem is that the connector that goes directly inside the camera can come loose if it gets tugged by accident so we need to check it out in case we had touched the cord extension. But that is just a heads up in case someone have the same issue. It is so much easier to have just one camera without having to be clicking around disconnecting/connecting to other devices and apps.Based on our experience with it, we totally recommend this camera, without a doubt!!!

PTZ and IR night vision are excellent. Motion alerts to cell phone work well.
I like the price and features - PTZ and the IR night vision are nice. The SD card for saving video and still snapshots is useful. Please continue and read all of my reviews.Update 4/12/2018: I ordered 2 more cameras for a friend's house. I have now purchased and installed 9 of these cameras. In the Settings Advanced / Multiple Settings I have 7 cameras monitored in one screen. I love the cameras! Please read all of my comments for a lot of installation tips.Update 3/30/2018: I ordered and installed my 2nd and 3rd cameras. The installation went smoothly. After using the 1st camera, I am upgrading my rating to 5 stars. The motion alarm accurately sends alerts to my cell phone and sends an email with a snapshot of the moment the motion was detected. This motion alert function is amazing. The low price allows me to add more cameras.Update 4/4/2018: I ordered my 4th and 5th cameras. They work nicely with the iMegaCam Android App. I also found that I can use the Android App IP CamViewer Basic to monitor these Tenvis cameras as well as another system that I have in another location. I can view the cameras on my computer (PC) by using the Android emulator with the Android apps.Accessing the camera software on the computer allows access to other features. If you are experienced in networking you will find other settings to customize your camera system. With a little of networking experience, I have been able to customize my viewing. I have successfully given each camera a reserved ip address on my router and set port forwarding so that I can use my dns service to assess the cameras. With this dns address I can remotely (from any computer with internet access) access the IP Camera software built into the camera. It requires Internet Explorer. The camera view won't work with Google Chrome browser. The camera browser software allows for viewing multiple cameras on 1 screen. To set this up I logged into 1 camera, then assessed settings / Advanced / Multiple Settings. I added my cameras to the 1st camera for viewing together. I love being able to view all of the cameras together on the computer. If you have a cloud service with an ftp address, alarm snapshots and video can be sent to the ftp server. This is useful in case the local camera and storage are destroyed. If you are experienced in networking you will find other settings.Update: 4/6/2018: I have expanded my system to 7 cameras. These cameras make a really nice addition to my security system. The instant motion alerts to my email and alert to the phone app are great features for use when the house is unoccupied. To assess the cameras with a computer, open a page in Internet explorer and type the camera's IP address in the address bar. You might be able to view the cameras using Google Chrome, but all the features may not be available. To get the IP address, you can go to Device Information in the phone app. I use IMegaCam for my android.I have my cameras connected to my home automation system to allow me to turn off the indoor cameras when I am at home. (You can simply unplug the camera to turn it off.) I wanted them to return to my desired positions when I turn the cameras on. If you access the cameras within an Internet Explorer web page, you can set preset up to 8 positions. To set position presetting: select a presetting number, then click Set. To go to a preset position, select preset number then click Call.
