Poor quality
purchased this strimmer,after first use thought this was a really good product. Unfortunately on 2nd extendable section kept coming apart.made contact with the seller who organised a replacement to be delivered. Few days later the replacement arrived,as soon as I assembled it,this time the extendable pole would not stay up.Informed the seller once again of faulty goods. Decided to accept a refund. After having 2 of these strimmer in a over a few weeks period only suggest do not buy.They are very poor quality and not fit for purpose.

A bit disappointing
I bought this via Amazon partly because Which? listed it as a 'Best Buy' and partly because the info here suggest that it is a British product. The distributor may be a British sme but the machine is made in China.I did not find it easy to assemble. For example, a pack of screws are supplied but one has to work out how many of this pattern and how many of that pattern there are and then figure out where they ought to go.It is reasonably easy to use, even though I am fairly tall, and the motor is powerful and strims well. However, the auto line feed has never worked. To get a bit more line out I have to turn off the power, take the green cap off and manually lift and pull to get more cord out. Then put it back together again.I now wish that I had bought one of the more established makes.

one of the easiest things I’ve set up in my life, it’s so light and nice to carry round and it’s great quality so I’d recommend it to anyone!

Really poor assembly instructions + auto-feed doesn't work properly
Probably the worst assembly instructions I have ever come across. Inaccurate, unclear and missing information. Poor quality images. It says you should not use replacement line, only replacement spools, but no information in the box as to where to get them. Beware - if you are not strong, you may find it hard to attach the handle. I bought this on the strength of a Which review, so that company loses some respect as a result of this experience. My strimmer seems to work OK and quite well so far (just a 2 minute test), but I hope it doesn't suffer from bad auto-feeding of the line (as reported by some others) - if it does, I shall be returning this product under the Sales of Goods Act as not fit for purpose. UPDATE: After about 20 minutes of use the auto-feed stop working. After 5 or 6 times manually feeding more line through, I felt enough was enough and am returning the item.
