Added safety when off-shore
Easy to use, the charge lasts all day, added piece of mind when off-shore.The radio is easy to use, but has all the features 98% of all users will need. I've used it about five times now, and every time I use it I hear at least one boater calling the US Coast Guard for help in a medical emergency, mechanical failure, of sinking (most recently a boater had all three).I'd say that the price is insignificant for the piece of mind it brings.

Can’t beat Icom
Can’t beat an Icom brand. This readio works great and most importantly you come across very clear to other boaters unlike most of the cheap brands.
