Hair Cutting Scissors Precision 3-Piece Barber Shears Set

I got these mainly to thin out a recent cut that I got where it was just too thick on the bottom and they work great! I was so nervous to cut my own hair but with the thinning shears theres really no messing it up. Just grab the hair in small sections and start cutting half way down and keep cutting as you pull the scissors to the end of your hair. It will pull the hair a little so make sure you hair is combed, then comb it after you pull the scissors away as there will be more hair to fall. I also used the small scissors to trim my bangs and create a frame for my face and its so easy. Just point the scissors up at an angle so the hair is not cut straight across as this will create a choppy look. Do a little at a time as you can always take some away but you cannot bring it back!

This set includes a 5.5" and 6.5" pair of shears plus a thinning shear. The set is constructed of tempered stainless and each pair is finished fairly well. The set is sharp and each pair comes in its own thin plastic wrap type case. The thinning shears won't be used much as at my age, thinning is becoming a natural occurrence, unfortunately! All-in-all, the set is nice, comes very sharp and is of fair quality for the price ($14 plus s+h).

Very nice sharp scissors, I was a little concerned at first because I only received the two smaller scissors with no thinning sheers. I emailed the seller and they reassured me that the thinning sheers were on the way! The sheers arrived about a week after! I must admit that I haven’t actually used these scissors to cut hair yet! I’ve cut up a men’s band shirt to make it more feminine looking and I have used the smaller pair to clean outAll the hair that gets stuck in the vacuum cleaner...ya know what I’m talking about, the huge clump of hair that gets wrapped around the roller of the vacuum??!! So I guess I actually have used the scissors to cut hair and they did an excellent job!!!!

This set of barbers scissors met my expectations. I have used them only once so for and they are wonderful. Despite the fact that they come from a "vet" site, (kinda weird, right?!), they are perfect for cutting my families hair. No problems with quality. AND much cheaper than I could find hair cutting scissors on other salon sites. Thank you very much.

The smaller barber shears were very sharp. The larger barber shears were sharp as well, but they were tight and hard to cut with. The salon shears are very very very dull.

You get exactly what you pay for. Does the job they are intended for. Do I use them daily in my business? No. But when I was in college they worked perfectly on my Manikin

Very poor quality. Blade is so dull it pulls hair rather than cutting it, finish is bad, and it is hard to open-close. It ships in the State but is not made in USA obviously. I wasn't looking for USA product at this price range but wanted better quality. There are many lower priced "non-USA" made scissors both here in Amazon or outside that are a lot better quality. This product is simply not usable. It is simply poor quality product local importer haggled for bargain price and try to dump it here at higher profit. Try other product that actually ships from China at decent price ($6, $7). It takes longer (2 -3 weeks) but the quality is so much better and it is actually usable.

They're certainly not perfect, but they're great for the price. The ones on the left aren't very sharp (or maybe I just don't know how to use them. idk), I haven't tried the middle ones yet, and the small ones are super sharp and cut perfectly. The handles are a good size for someone like me, but after using them for a while, they do get uncomfortable. Though that's after hours of use, so it's expected from any scissors.
