I was apprehensive to say the least in purchasing these but I am so glad I did and will never look back. These are perfect for Hawaii and hiking. I felt so much lighter with these versus tennis shoes and was able to breeze through the trails, especially with all the elements you may encounter. I have high arches so the comfort and sturdiness is 10/10 and is now my go to for most things instead of tennis shoes. Ordered my normal size and they fit fine; adjusted the straps and then the fit was perfect. While I don't get to wear them near as much living in the midwest, they come in handy and still look good as new. These will last a while, I can already tell!

I switched to Chacos for the support and they live up to the hype. I will say it takes some adjustment when learning how to adjust the straps. Consider watching some How-To videos so you know how they are supposed to fit. I adjust mine every now and then still but worth the price. Ideally, they are a bit looser in the front (supposed to be able to put a finger between strap and foot) and then you tighten more around ankle.

I wore these shoes for daily walks around my neighborhood. Within 1 month of wear, they started to smell. It was and is a horrible smell that will not go away after multiple washes, deodorizing cleaners. It’s terrible. And you can’t get any support for this product if you buy on Amazon. Chacos won’t support a reimbursement and Amazon won’t help. Absolutely horrible experience and I’ll never buy a pair again!

was a bit hesitant on the straps … but they go with everything. they fit as expected. also, the pricing was a steal.

Love these Chacos - and all really. But especially the ones without a toe band. They are so comfortable and have lasted a couple of seasons of heavy use!
