Usually this product works fine. But the last time I used it, it broke open at the bottom (after only a few days and less than an inch of water) and it leaked inside my closet on some of my clothing. There is no way to get a replacement because i can't send back the leaky item.

I live in a tiny studio apartment, and when I was cleaning out my closet, I found evidence of mold and a lingering musty smell in the closet. (I have to mention that I do have water lines running through my closet, so there is definitely moisture in there when I have the closet door shut). Every few months I would clean - mold would come back - clean again - mold would come back. I got tired of it!!I am SO glad I found these, and I wish I had used them sooner. Each of these moisture absorbing bags says that they can last about three months before the liquid bag fills up - and thats exactly what happened! It literally sucked all of the moisture in the closet (very fast at first) and the bag took about 3 months to fill completely. It's very gross yellow-ish gray water in the bag. The bag also has a scent thats similar to a cleaning product or laundry detergent which is nice; its a pretty strong scent at first but it dissipates after a while.I am planning on putting another one of these moisture bags in my coat closet - the closet that I shove my wet winter coat and wet shoes in everyday; another mold prone area.Basically once the bag fills up with water, just throw it away and put another bag in there - that's it!

I love these! They're very easy to use and make a big difference in reducing humidity. They also reduce the stale smell of closets/basements, etc.

They really work! I usually have to run a dehumidifier in my basement during the hot weather, now I just hang these bags and they remove any excess water. I was amazed at how much water they remove. No more musty basement and even better, no more high electric bills !

These work well. Surprised with how much moisture they absorb from the air in our RV. I did have one that had a small leak previously so now put a pan or dish beneath it to catch any liquid.

If travelling to a humid climate these are a must. When in Cancun, we hung it in the closet with our clothes. They were always dry and not musty smelling.
