Modern Craftsman Distressed Oak Sofa Table by Home Styles 16D x 44.5W x 20H in

I purchased two of these end tables and they both arrived in great condition. They are well made, sturdy and perfectly match the existing console tables purchased a few years ago. The assembly was also easy. The wooden tops are solid and heavy so you need two people. I was happy to see that the seller appears to have solved previous packaging issues (see below) for their tables. We really like these tables and look forward to several years of use.When I purchased the console tables a few years ago both arrived with the tops damaged due to poor packaging (corners were smashed and broken). However, the seller was amazing as they sent new wooden console tops to replace the damaged ones at no cost. The console tables are well made and holding up beautifully. The seller is very customer focused and responsive and resolved the issue of the damaged tops very quickly. This great service is why we decided to purchase the end tables.

This is a substantial, heavy table, beautifully finished and lovely oak veneers. The base is made of welded assemblies that are bolted together. If you're a chess player, this is the table to buy for your set.

Now that it's assembled, it looks beautiful and looks like a real solid piece of furniture.. Of course the directions could always be better, And I wish they had put in stronger and longer woodscrews for this item.

It’s incredibly sturdy. There are only 6 pieces. It’s very easy to put together. They nicked both an angled hex wrench for the final tightening of screws and a straight hex wrench for the initial tightening. Making assembly really quick. I’d give it 5 stars, but it came with 5 wood screws to attach the wood top to the metal legs, but 2 of them were smaller and shorter. It only needed 4. So, the 3 longer larger screws are probably sufficient. Also, the drawer stop somehow broke off the screw it was held by inside the drawer opening. So, our end table doesn’t have drawer stop and the opening is too short to unscrew the screw and reattach.Otherwise it’s great.

Very nice piece of furniture. Easily assembled. Great addition to the room.All parts were there and in excellent shape. Nicely packed- no damage to anything.

Pros:-Easy to put together, good instructions; estimate 20 minutes per piece solo-Passes five-foot test for looks-Solid and heavy-Coffee Table: Drawers open from both sides of table. Neat!-Shelving underneath very nice for extra storage or shoes under the sofa table.-Good sized-Rubber feet, the better to protect your wood floorsCons:-"Oak laminate" is wood the same way paper is wood, if you catch my meaning. I've seen thicker construction paper.-Two of three pieces bought (end table and sofa table, also got coffee table) wobble. Not a deal-breaker.-Damage to drawers which reveal the lie of "laminate". So long as drawers are closed it's fine but the compressed wood underneath is very pale and obvious when they are opened.-Metal is of course hollow, which makes it feel cheap when you put it together. Won't be noticed by anyone but you though.Amusing:-"Natural" looking holes in the wood "laminate" spaced evenly across the top in the exact same pattern.Final: Good enough for the price, makes a nice complimentary set. Don't expect any high-end friends to faun with genuine fervor.

I am very impressed with the craftsmanship of this table. The oak wood top has interesting grain. It pairs well with the black metal legs and fits in perfect with my Mission style furniture. It came well packaged and didn't take long to assemble.

From the moment this sofa table arrived, we knew it was perfect. It came quickly without an issue in delivery. It was heavy. It took my husband and both to carry it in the house. My husband had it together in under half an hour all on his own without a problem. It has a beautiful distressed oak finish and the black metal really sets it off. The picture doesn't do it justice. Drawers open smoothly and are spacious too (We easily put 10-15 of our favorite dvds inside one drawer and some other tv/dvd player supplies in the other). I put a set of rich colored baskets beneath it to add texture and a little storage room. The price was exactly right and the quality was excellent for what we paid for it. This sofa table adds richness to the look of our living room. Many visitors have commented on how beautiful it looks and want to know where we got it. This sofa table is exactly what we wanted without stretching our budget to the limit. We love it!
