This product works great. It is exactly how it is described. Makes cleaning your pool a lot easier increased the suction and help prevent items from making its way to the pool filter.

I bought this to use the with the Intex in-pool skimmer (https://www.amazon.com/Intex-Deluxe-Mount-Surface-Skimmer/dp/B00178IMPO?th=1) Fits well, with the basket in place so any larger debris is caught and not right into the filter or small mesh opening for the vac hose. It sits about 1" below the surface of the skimmer and makes a reasonable seal on the top. The bottom pressure release flaps of the intex skimmer needs to be sealed up tho ( not related / not an issue with this skimmer plate ) I have not attempted to connect this to the filter assembly directly as pictured.

These work great but they don’t fit my skimmer. I have the high skimmers that spin the water around. I have to take it out and replace it with a standard one.Other than that, it works great

This means that upon restarting the pump, I have to push the plate down again to ensure proper suction.

The crucial rubber seal constantly pops out, is not held properly. Very annoying. Otherwise product is just what I needed

They advertise this product as being able to fit a 7" inch skimmer and the product arrived and it was 8"I had to wait almost two weeks for it to arrive even though I paid $12 to expedite it and when it arrived it was useless.
