I never write reviews but this has been a game changer for me so I have to share my experience. I have always been inconsistent around the greens and out of the sand and quite honestly had accepted that. I was introduced to these wedges and it has given me confidence and much better consistency than I have ever had. I bought the Chipper and the Sand wedge. Wasn’t sure about the chipper but now I am sold on it. The wedge is a joy to hit and you don’t even think of ever digging in with plenty of forgiving bounce. I am a mid handicaper and these two clubs have changed my short game. I have 3 buddies now using the wedge and they love it as well. You won’t be disappointed if you fear pulling out that wedge. You will actually look forward to using it.

I started golfing a lot about 15 months ago and I thought this would help my short game. Chipper putters are rare on the golf course and I got a little teasing from my playing partners. I don’t use it often because my chipping has got a lot better. Maybe if I practiced with it more I could utilize it better. It’s a good club but not really necessary if you can execute short chips or like to use the “Texas Wedge”. I’ll keep it in my closet for now but wouldn’t hesitate to put it back in my bag after some more practice.

If you lack confidence in your chipping then this is your answer. It has a short, upright shaft that gets you close to the ball and allows a putting stroke to chip. It has a wide sole that provides more forgiveness in wet, muddy lies where you might fat a shot. Better looking than a more expensive rival manufacturer in my opinion for the job in hand. Highly recommended for golfers of all standards if your chipping has started yipping!
