The heat part of the toothpaste is that it is fluoride free so if it is ingested by the kids also will not have any adverse effect. Taste & smell is also good. My kid enjoys brushing his teeth now with luvlap toothpaste

I like the fact that it is safe to swallow as my toddler is too young to spit but needs to brush to keep teeth clean and mouth fresh.. this one does a great job at that
