Great for Large-Xl Dogs!
After searching through multiple dog backpacks, I am glad I decided on this one! I bought this for my Great Dane and also fits my 10mons old Saint Bernard, and it adjuts to fit both of them perfectly! Both pockets are very spacious and can hold a lot, and material seems very easy to clean and maintain. Excited to use this backpack for my dogs this summer when we go on hikes and adventures so the dogs can carry their own water, toys and tennis balls and I can enjoy the hike more with less things to carry!

JUNK!!!!
DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! This is a horrible product. First off, the measurements are not accurate. I measured my dog, bought the size for what she measured at and when it came it was too big. I didn’t have time to send it back so we used it. It is definitely not a secure backpack even if it would have fit. Not even halfway into our tweet and a half mile hike this very poorly make backpacking started coming apart literally. The bags on reach side came off before we even made it to the top of the mountain. Our poor girl was so uncomfortable with this backpack on. On the way back down we had to carry her stuff including this piece of junk dog backpack along with our already packed full backpacks. You have been warned!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!! You will regret it.

Okay for use around the city or WALKING on trails.
We didn't like how the saddle bags lay on the dog. It is very light weight, but with good ripstop and decent materials. However, our dog would get hung up on the underbrush quite often. There is also no load stablizing straps. The dog gets beat up by the load flopping around while running. If your dog isn't very active and you always stay right on the trails (or in the city), this is probably an okay pack for you. But when we can we let our dog run a bit and she tears through the trees and bushes sniffing and looking for wildlife. We have no use for a pack that is so floppy and loose.

Got this for our Setter
The backpack came much more quickly than I expected. The pack material is thin, but it’s sturdy. Our dog is an Irish Setter, so he has a deep chest and a skinny belly, so we are still making adjustments, but we did have it on well enough for a training walk. There are a lot of straps for the harness, and that’s a good thing. I think this will work out great once we can get him fitted and adjusted. The bags are roomy enough to carry his food and maybe water. Remember your dog isn’t a pack mule and shouldn’t carry more than 10% of their weight. I’d buy this again.

Two Stars
The zippers came apart quickly and open while the dog is walking.

Made well
I have a Lab and she still needs to grow into it a little. Had tighten the straps to the limit and it still moves a little.

Broke less than 1/2 mile into first hike with only 1 small plastic water bottle in the pouch :(
I do not usually post a review; never a negative one. But, we were less than 1/2 mile in for a steep, but short hike and one of the saddle-packs broke off. It was only holding a very small, plastic, throw away type of water bottle. My dog was not stuck or romping about. I was shocked when it happened. Very poor quality. I picked this one due to the large size of the pockets but was just testing it with a small water bottle on each side to get my dog accustomed to wearing one. He had no problem with it and it seemed comfortable. So sad that the poor quality ruins this saddle-pack design.

Good quality and roomy!
I have a 175 lb English Mastiff and it fits him perfectly. It is roomy enough that he can carry 3-4 days worth of his own food on his own back during our hikes.
