My son had a slight iron deficiency and a the other drops we tried tasted TERRIBLE and smelled awful too. While these aren't delicious (it's iron, it can only taste so good) it is quite palatable and my son is much more compliant taking these. The form of iron used is almost more bioavailable than what the other drops had. It solved his iron deficiency issues and we are happy campers now.

Kids don’t mind the taste. I thinking it’s a bit strong but they still drink it. I’ll continue to buy, this is my second bottle

We love all Mary Ruth vitamins and supplements for our toddler. This liquid has a decent taste to mask the metallic taste of iron. It wasn’t quite strong enough for my anemic toddler, but is a good supplement for him now that his iron stores are at a good level when he doesn’t eat natural sources of iron.

My 2 yr old son had a low reading of his Iron. His pediatrician suggested we started supplementing iron for him until his follow up appointment for next test reading. I had. Hard time finding iron Supplements for him at the pharmacy and was told to check online. Happy I found this on Amazon. Glad it did not taste to bad since it was grape flavored. I believe the brand was a good choice as well. Next visit his iron reading was back on track!

My toddler has struggled with iron deficiencies for quite some time. I can't get her to drink enough water as it is, so putting this in her water bottle is useless. I take a large medicine syringe and fill it with a mixture of these drops and water. I give it to her and we call it "juice". She loves it! She now plunges it into her mouth on her own and squeals for more. I then just keep filling up the syringe with water and she goes to town. Hydrating AND getting in her iron. A win win.
