ECOVACS DEEBOT X1 Turbo Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo, 5000Pa Suction, Auto-Cleaning Station, Upgraded Laser Navigation, Obstacle Avoidance, YIKO Voice Assistant, Black

I've only had this a couple of weeks so I plan to return in several months with an update. We have an open floor plan with mostly hard floors (an area rug or two) and a dog that sheds like you can't believe. I hate doing floors to begin with, but the need to do it daily became a huge drag. In researching brands I found that the well known brands all had issues and concerns that came with them, but this brand -- while it didn't have nearly as many reviews as the others -- all the reviews were positive so I bit the bullet. Best money ever spent. The instructions are not particularly user friendly so there was a learning curve in making the most of what this machine has to offer (you tube videos helped), but now that I understand it, I can I let it do its thing -- either just vacuuming the entirety of the living area, or vacuuming and mopping specific areas -- and my life has gotten so much easier!! And it does a GREAT JOB! I have to clean out the collection bin at least 3 or 4 times while it's doing the entire area because even if I vacuum every day, it still finds plenty of dog hair to clean up, which I find very commendable of it. It's not the cheapest on the market I'm sure, but it really does what I needed and wanted it to do and, frankly, for what I've paid in the past for mediocre house cleaners or the hours and hours I've spent doing it myself, this baby really is going to pay for itself in no time. The pic above is what it picked up from a full area clean today (and I've used this vacuum several times this week already). Again, we're still in the honeymoon phase but I'll be back in 6 months or longer to update on whether or not this baby has staying power. But after 2 weeks anyway, I am one very happy camper.

When the vacuum/mop works it works well however it doesn’t work quite as long as it should. I’m now on my second Deebot X1, the first one was replaced under warranty. The second one has lasted us around 8 months and now has stopped working correctly. Now that we are out of warranty customer service isn’t very helpful. They do the simple things and then tell you that they recommend you sending it in. That’s $78 round trip plus their labor and parts to fix it. The best I can tell online is that the average repair job is 2 months. I opted to just by the parts from the manufacturer. The prices were good and the parts fixed the issues that I had however they then caused a new issue. Now my robot and base don’t communicate since I had to replace my circuit board. Even if I get this issue fixed, I don’t anticipate that it will be long before it breaks again.

I have a huge house 6000 ft.². This mob vacuum system does my whole main floor which is about 2000 ft seven days a week because I’m picky about being clean. It never fails in its task and these floors are sparkling clean! I’ve been using this for months and I have not had a single problem and I just love having spotlessly clean, floors all the time, I change the water about once a week because I use it so often in my large house, but otherwise you wouldn’t have to change the water as often. I mean it’s amazing. There’s nothing to do except change the water there’s a water tank and a dirty water tank. I change them once a week that’s all that I do to have my floors sparkling clean and it’s so much more superior to my roomba and my Tesvor for which are on my other floors. it is worth every penny! The app is cool and you can set it to how you want the floors cleaned. Do you want it lightly cleaned or do you want it deep cleaned? Do you want to clean the clean the mopping head every 10 minutes or 30 minutes do you want to have specific rooms cleaned? I can do it all! You will not be disappointed! I’m so glad I purchased this!!

I think it works pretty well I like it. It did miss a couple of areas but I just had to direct it over there. Overall I am happy with it.

This is a fantastic vac, but for most people, the next model up, the Ecovac Omni, makes MUCH more sense because it has self emptying and this model does not. This is my second Ecovac, I’ve also previously owned Roomba, so I feel like I know my robot vacs. My previous Ecovac Osmo also had “mopping”, but it really only dragged a wet cloth across the floor where this unit has rotating brushes scrub. I really liked my previous Ecovac Osmo, but I had to tend to it everyday emptying, cleaning, and filling. I was looking forward to NOT having to mess with it daily and only emptying and refilling weekly… I wanted “set it and forget it”! Pro: Love the clean floor feeling when barefoot! Really quiet. Astonishingly so! Great looking device and great build quality. Very solid and quiet. Excellent app, at least on iPhone, don’t know about Android. EDIT: After using more it’s pretty glitchy. Very easy setup. iPhones can be a little tricky with Wi-Fi setup, but it was flawless, and the prompts all worked including voice prompts. Cons: This model does NOT empty itself and has a small bin, smaller than my other Ecovac, and will require frequent emptying. The next model up the Ecovac Omni empties itself. Doesn’t include bottom plate for brushless cleaning (for hard floors) which was great in other models. The navigation is a little too conservative, didn’t get into corners and areas that my previous model did. While it does clean it’s own mop heads and refills water, it DOES NOT have the ability to empty the vacuum bin. If you think about that, it makes no sense for almost any home. We need to empty the vacuum bin FAR more often than we need to clean and/or refill the mop. I decided to keep it because I got it on sale, and I regret not having the Omni. Get the more expensive model that empties itself, or a cheaper model, but not this one. ;) Edit: Get the T20 Omni unless you need the camera features!

After one year of using. Overall it’s good and cleans very well. But it cannot select specific rooms to clean after the mapping. It always throws “unable to reach designated area” and end the task. It’s very annoying

Excellent achat , je m’en passerai plus ! Vaut chaque sous quil coute , ceux qui disent qui nettoie pas bien doit etre tres tres tres sale chez eux !! Cest juste incroyable qu un robot puisse nettoyer si bien , jai un bebe golden retreiver, tout les poils qui perd se retrouve dans le bac du robot ! Je me leve chaque matin le plancher brille !! Inutile de mettre laspiration au max, sa suce en masse !! En gros je suis en amour avec mon robot , seul regret est davoir acheter la version turbo au lieu du omni car moin chere

Funciona correctamente para el propósito que fue fabricado

Llevo 2 meses usándola y la verdad yo sí lo recomiendo. - Muy eficiente aspirando y trapeando. Sí sustituye la tarea de una persona para trapear a profundidad (sobre todo debajo de los muebles). - Las mopas que tiene integradas para trapear son giratorias y efectivas para eliminar la suciedad del piso, además se lavan solas. En comparación de otros modelos que solo tiene un pedazo de trapo pegado y solo lo pasa mojado sin fricción. - La batería me dura para limpiar un departamento de 115m2 tres veces al día en aspirado y fregado modo normal. - La App no es tan intuitiva al principio pero ya después de explorar, es fácil. Sí tiene la opción de configurar la App en español. - Tienes que quitar el compartimento de polvo manualmente de la máquina y vaciarlo. Hay una versión que cuesta ~5mil pesos más para que haga la extracción de lo aspirado a otro compartimento en automático pero creo que no vale tanto la pena porque no cuesta tanto vaciarlo. Yo lo tengo que vaciar una vez por semana por el uso que le doy (2 veces al día mínimo). - Cuenta con una herramienta en forma de cuchilla para que cortar el cabello largo que se va enredando en las aspas. - Si tienes mascotas (perros/gatos) esto es excelente. Me ahorra mucho tiempo en limpiar cada vez que mi perrito/cachorro ensucia. - La máquina es capaz de subir topes de 2-3cm de un cuarto a otro, lo cual es perfecto. - 3 veces que mi App no se emparejaba a la máquina pero la App te guía si esto pasa y es muy fácil de reiniciarla para volver a tener el control. - Tiene cámara y video integrada. Puedes hablar desde tu cel / app y que las personas que estén cerca de la máquina te escuchen, ellas te pueden contestar y tú puedes escucharles desde la App. El video puedes grabarlo o simplemente usarlo para tener visualización del momento. - Hay un jabón limpiador especial para robots de Ecovacs que cuesta ~$1,000 MXN pero no me animé porque explícitamente viene en la etiqueta que te da cáncer. Busque otras marcas genéricas de ~$500 MXN pero tampoco me animé a comprarlas porque no quería que se dañara mi máquina. Una vez opté por rociar detergente para piso de esos normales y después pasar mi robot para trapear, esto solo resultó en que se generara espuma en el contenedor donde se va el agua sucia a la hora de que la máquina limpió las mopas para trapear. Decidí dejar de hacerlo porque no quisiera que los ductos que utiliza para descargar agua sucia se tapen.

Me vi en la necesidad de ponerle una cinta antideslizante en la rampa ya que el robot al trapear esta mojado y si no le pones eso nunca se va poder acoplar a su base, pero con esto se solucina la verdad vale muchísimo la pena el robot 🤖 solo espero mejoren ese mal diseño de rampa para futuras versiones el robot trapea y barre y aspira al mismo tiempo es muy inteligente y hace de manera rapida el mapa y uno lo puede ir modificando a que areas si puede entrar o programarlo por horarios y zonas o cuartos y lo que me gusto es que si tienes mascotas puedes hacer video llamada con ellos hablarles en tiempo real y te escuchan simplemente una maravilla

This cleaner does a great job! I do find it a bit loud, but if you reduce the suction is is quieter. The mopping job it does is also pretty good. The only caveats I have are: (i) the dirt container is quite small- This means you will be emptying it quite frequently; (ii) the battery is not the longest, and it frequently will need to recharge to finish a standard sized floor of a house. The charging time is a bit long, but if you are not in a hurry, this is not a big issue (it will resume where it left off when it is recharged). Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and I give it 4/5 stars.
