Premium quality, delicious flavor, amazing drizzled on crispy bread!!
I never REALLY knew how different premium brands of olive oil were from the mainstream brands that you can buy at your local grocery store. WOW! HUGE difference! You can tell by the strength of the olive taste and how incredibly flavorful it is. It is FABULOUS drizzled on crispy bread along side a yummy plate of pasta. While this olive oil is suitable for cooking, it is so delicious that I think it is even better used for dipping and drizzling. Some olive oils just taste like... well, oil. They don't really have a distinct flavor but this definitely does. There is a stark difference between this and what I was previously using. It is like night and day!I have cooked with it, too, and everything turned out perfectly. I am keeping this specifically for dipping and dressings and will use the less premium oil for cooking. I honestly think the flavor and quality of the oil is wasted on sautéing but that is just me.I LOVE the built in easy pour spout! I have a olive oil dispenser but it is constantly leaking and making a mess. This allowed me to pour just the right amount of EVOO - no leaks, no drips, no mess!!!The bottle is quite premium looking and feels durable. It would make the perfect addition to a gift basket and is definitely on par with something you would find in an upscale specialty boutique.Premium brand that is well worth the money!

Delicious and mild olive flavor.
This is a delicious, high-quality olive oil. I love a good EVOO, and I have a bit of a collection of some particular favorites. This oil by Colinas de Garzon holds its own among those, even though most of them cost much more than this one. This particular oil isn't infused with any fancy flavors, which is good because it allows the olivey flavor to shine through. The flavor, however, while olivey, is pretty mild compared to some of my other favorites, making it ideal for cooking. This stuff is perfect for drizzling over vegetables for roasting, and it's even good enough for dipping! It's actually great for bread dipping, especially with the pop-up pourer. (Such a great bottle feature--no more drips or messes!) This is an Italian oil blend made in Uruguay, in an area known as Little Tuscany. I think it's my first Uruguayan olive oil, but if they're all this good, I will have to try some others because this is some quality stuff! It's affordable and delicious, and I will probably repurchase it when this bottle is empty.

Beautiful Bottle And Amazing Taste
I know people don't really pay attention to the bottle, but I love the bottles that olive oil comes in because I can look at it and see if it is filtered or unfiltered. I prefer unfiltered, but I'm not opposed to any olive oil. This is a delicious low acidic olive oil. You can use it for dipping bread, cooking, as a high smoke oil, or for making things like salad dressings. You can taste the olive taste without the bitterness. It's really such a great tasting oil. It is a bit on the expensive side at $25 for 17 oz, but because it is so great tasting, I would purchase it again. I also like that it is a short bottle, which fits perfect in the cabinet. Some of the best oils I've gotten have to stay on the counter because they won't fit on the shelf. However, all that said, this is amazing olive oil with such versatility. You won't be upset splurging on this one!

Great for air fryer recipes
I go through a lot of olive oil in my house for cooking and air frying. I use it in pretty much everything that requires cooking in a skillet/frying pan and on everything in my air fryer. I don’t use vegetable oil at all except for baking. I’m not really well versed in the major differences of olive oils but this definitely has a very strong distinct flavor. I transferred it into a spray bottle as thats most useful for me but the glass bottle it comes in is nice. It might be nice to be a little shorter bottle so it fits better in most cabinets. I’ve used it a couple times for cooking and it has worked great, but where it really stands out is for air frying. I sprayed it on some asparagus and then dusted with my garlic parsley salt combo and popped it in the air fryer and it was the best asparagus I’ve ever eaten. I look forward to using it on other vegetables as well. It’s a little pricey but for the taste and the fact that its shipped to your door without being broken, it might be worth it.

Great Spout. Mild "Flavor"
5.7.22~ 'Colinas De Garzon' Olive Oil is Good but not Exceptional.Love the built-in, pop out, pour spout. That made it worth the try.As to flavor, tried 3 ways & just not blown away vs what I have.So you know~ the fact that this is from Uruguay, has no impact on my opinion.Kinda ventured away from Italian oils bc they rarely have flavor anymore, like tomatoes. My fave cooking oil is from Turkey & my fave salad oil is California.Oh and don't let a Spanish blend scare you away. Some of the best are blended.Moving on, you want to know about this oil & how it fares.* As a salad oil, pass. Not a lot of fruitiness* As a base for sauce, good on heat. Sweated without burning garlic* As an add of fat flavor to the end of a Vegetarian dish like lentils, good not great. My Go To oil for flavor is 'Farm to Market'.Not a cooking oil but makes my meatless dishes taste meaty with a splash at the end.As a cold oil, it's so good with just a pinch of salt, makes iceberg run for it's life. This oil is definitely Not 25 bucks for 17 oz great. The flavor is simple. It won't surprise you.Where it would do well, and probably why Chef Mallman supports, is the simplicity. It's the kind of rich oil you'd want to season, as in a rub, Smoke or Grill.Something as a conduit not to alter the flavor of meat. The Quality is there, and the Spout is a Game Changer, just not how we cook.Kinda feel like the fancy label is supposed to put this in a gift category. And maybe that's supposed to justify the price?Guess I'm just old school & actually want it to taste good as well.
