Works great
This hole puncher works like a dream. No burs, very quick and easy to use. We can run off a hole strip of holes in a couple of minutes. Fit and finish are better than expected for a tool this cheap. Its as nice as anything in our shop. I've been punching about 40 holes per run on on our small production sheet metal parts. On 20 gauge cold rolled steel it just "ka chunks" its little heart out. I have not tried 18 gauge yet but doubt it will be an issue. Now the flanger is kind of disappointing but I only poopped a few off to see how it worked. You will need to overlap a bit and it will leave a lot of marks on the steel. Since it only flanges like a .75" wide area and you need to overlap you will not want to use this for very long strips. The depth of the offset is kind of shallow. I don't think that it dropped the step even as far as the thickness of the 20 gauge (.044). So, highly recommended for hole punching, not recommended for flanging. Note: it does say to use at 90-130 psi...I tested the flanging at 110. Maybe it would work better at 130 psi....

Does the job, but mars the surface
No problem at all making the holes or flanges needed. My only critisizm it that the tool makes marks along the flange edge that takes extra work to correct when you need a nice looking surface. For the price though I'm pleased with the performance.

Great Tool - Saves Time & Money
If you are into metal fab, rust repair, this is a must. It's not the strongest punch/flange tool, but with the cheap metal today it does the job. Swivel head and compact for just about any job. I have gone through a few of these over the years.... KEEP IT PROTECTED AND LUBED. If it dries out, it's useless.

Solid performer, huge time saver.
We successfully used it for a construction project and it literally punched thousands of holes without a hitch. It saved us tons of time and was only a few dollars well spent.

Not a 1/4" punch
This is a 3/16 inch punch, not a 1/4 inch punch. Worked fine on 18 gauge metal but would not punch 16 gauge.
