Bought the lovely light blue colour in size 18. Accurately sized. Very comfortable to wear being stretchy, but maintains good shape. I’m not normally one for shorts, but if you don’t mind not having pockets, these are easy wash, dry and wear. Look stylish and are also good value for money. Only wanted an inexpensive pair for the garden and beach. These are perfect for that. Thank you.

So I bought these when they were reduced a lot and I needed shorts for a holiday. I had had my eye on these for a while but never bought because I’d read the reviews and the mentioned issues were putting me off, specifically: no back pockets or even front pockets (major issue both aesthetically and practically speaking!) and the fact that the cuffs don’t keep shape after washing.Given the lowered price, I thought I’d buy them, because I loved the fact that these are super stretchy and comfortable (including waist line), they are a good length (so many shorts are just too short and not flattering). I have now worn these a few times and washed them a few times. I can confirm that they are super comfy to wear all day long and don’t slip. The material does feel synthetic but it’s thin and light enough to not be sweaty in the heat but also not sheer enough to show through your underwear. The cuff does loosen after washing and it is a little annoying.But all in all, I still love these. If they had real pockets then these would be awesome. I’d happily pay a premium to have that. Come on, Roman Originals, step up your game!

True to size and good quality.Ok, so I have a problem buying shorts.Due to an injury, I've unfortunately put on some unwanted weight, as wasn't able to exercise.I've recently been trying on loads of shorts of different fabrics and length elsewhere, and every piddling pair made me look like either Perry, from 'Kevin and Perry' or Lofty from 'It Ain't Half Hot Mum'I decided to come on here and found these.I'll admit, I was expecting to have to send them back, but no, these are great.They are nice light fabric, so I'm assuming quick drying for paddling in the sea and good for hot days.I went by my current size and followed the measurements provided on here and they fit great, and look really nice. I reckon I could have gone a size down, but I think they would have been a more of a snugger fit, which I didn't want.They come just above my knees, so great if, like me, don't want short shorts.I know they don't have pockets, but that isn't an much issue for me, they do have belt loops, which I like, as I like to wear a belt.They look smart enough to wear at a party or something, as well as the beach.They also look like they'll wash well. I'm really pleased with the fit and how they look on me, I've bought several pairs in different colours.But most of all, they don't make me look like Perry or Lofty, so pleased with them.

I bought 2 pairs previously, size 14 and were a perfect fit. This purchase, they are not the same size when measuring against the previous shorts. Too big. Having to order a 12.DO NOT IRON- the material will bubble and be ruined. I ruined my light blue pair !

These shorts are stretchy, good quality shorts. I have bought several pairs in different colours. They wash well. Great for summer and holidays. Dress up or down pairing with different style tops. Only downside is that there are no pockets. Comfortable to wear. Wash well.

I like these shorts as they can be dressed up for evening or be casual for they daytime. Even suitable for work wear. They are very comfortable and are made of stretchy material. They do not have any pockets and are pull on (so nice and flat for the tummy area, no bulky fastenings). A nice variety of colours to choose from. I bought a 12 and am just wondering if I could get into a 10.
