Use size comparison for US to UK to ascertain which one to get and it should be fine - true to size. I would say if you are towards the higher end of the size boundaries go smaller as even though there is some give in the springs you don’t want to over stretch your boots. For me I have Chelsea boots with the Lycra (I believe) near the ankle to allow you to get the boots on and off for which they go in and out with relative ease - one thing I was concerned about prior to receiving them but not been an issue having received them and put them to use.

Bought redwing boot trees for my redwings but also happened to purchase thorogood moctoes and didn’t feel like wasting 80 dollars on more boot trees. So I gave these awesome boot trees a chance. For much less than the bigger brand which is redwings I didn’t expect as much but was blown away with the quality, it is far superior, it fit more snug, had a stinger cedar scent, and overall better wood craftsmanship. The red wing boot trees were looser, not as scenty, and were more expensive. Which I wouldn’t have wasted my money on the redwing trees and invested in these earlier. (Both are large size by the way) In any case I would recommend these boot trees over any other.

I purchased these recently because I finally spoiled myself and purchased a new paid of cowboy boots, but I didn't have a spare set of boot trees. As I've come to expect, the Stratton name stands for quality so when I received them I was not surprised to find an excellent product.Bottom line, they work and they are very well made.

I had purchased these boot trees for some expensive work boots I recently got. They didn't fit the way I liked, but when I inserted them into a pair of casual dress boots I already had, they fit perfectly! I really like the way they keep the form on the shaft of the boots. I just need to tie the laces and they keep the creasing to a minimum! The only complaint I have is that the boot trees are not marked(Left vs. Right). I figured it out due to the shape of the toe compared to other Stratton shoe trees I have. Aside from that minor issue, I love the way they help keep my casual boots in shape!
