Steelworx 380 Auto Snap Caps/Training Rounds

I've been using the Steelworx 380 Auto Snapcaps for the past few months, and they've exceeded my expectations. Previously, I used plastic snapcaps for my nine millimeter with good results, but these stainless steel ones take it up a notch. I bought them for my Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 to help my wife get comfortable with the gun's mechanics before carrying it in her purse. These Snapcaps have been perfect for practicing loading and unloading, racking the slide, and inserting and removing the magazine. They cycle smoothly through the chamber without any signs of wear, and their solid construction gives me confidence they'll last for years. If you're looking for durable and reliable snapcaps, these are definitely worth considering.

Great value. When I bought my first handgun these made it super easy to get familiar with holding the gun, practicing the slide, getting comfortable with the trigger without wasting ammo etc. Worked well, fit perfect, good quality.

These caps jam while feeding in my S&W Bodyguard 2.0, even with highly polished feed ramps, but they work in my other 380's, though. As a side note, they work perfectly in a 9x18 Makarov PM (from all the usual combloc countries.) That's a gun that you DO NOT want to dry fire! The firing pin floats with no spring (if you shake the slide you should hear it rattle), and dry firing can break it. Replacements used to be cheap and plentiful, but now they're expensive and hard to find. These caps load and feed perfectly in the Mak mags and the rubber "primer" protects the pin.

Loaded my firearm with these and the 3rd one got stuck in the slide to the point where I couldn't rack the slide. Removed the magazine and still wouldn't rack. After several tries it finally came out. Not using these anymore. Seem to have kind of a little rough edge around the casing.

While I wanted to order these because they looked well made and the colors serve as a reassurance for my wife, when they came in they were much higher quality than I expected.
