Works even better than OEM
Bought this since my furnace was not firing up, fixed the problem and now lights up instantly, make sure it matches your furnace and enjoy a hot house again.

Worked beautifully.
The media could not be loaded. Unit stopped heating and fan would not go on when on auto, only when set to on (due to the fact that the gas did not ignite). This sensor igniter worked like a charm. Had to remove the pilot tube at the gas value in order to be able to remove the assembly that had the ignitor (unit has a smart value). The furnace is 30 years old, and this was the first issue I had with it (ComfortMaker Furnace around 1995, model GNJ075M16A1).

Did not work out of the box
I tried to save some money and not buy an OEM replacement. Didn't work out of the box and ended up having to buy the OEM part anyways.

Great value
I was able to replace my existing Flame Rod Sensor Igniter myself in a few minutes and avoid a costly visit from a licensed contractor. The part fit exactly like the OEM part did at a fraction of the price and I have heat again.IMPORTANT: I am not advertising changing this part if you don't know what you are doing and/or are not comfortable working with equipment connected to gas lines and mains current.

Buy this one. Don't waste yor money on more expensive ones. This one works and it lasts. I've had it in my furnace for 2 years now, no problems.

Fit furnace and solved ignition problem
Part arrived fast, thank you Amazon an ASL.Package was new in good condition, good instructions, after install the furnace lighted with ease, this would have been 5 stars except the part was made in China😞. the test will be how long it will last? Saving that report for the future

Flame sensor
Only lasted a week during a real cold snap, very frustrating. Bought a genuine sensor from a plumbing store. Waste of money. Too cold out, snowy and busy at work. No time to send back

Does not appear to be a replacment for Q3400A-1040 as advertised.
It appears to fit properly, and the igniter does glow red, the pilot flame never lights. I can easily light the pilot with a match and it stays running, until thermostats shut it down. Of course it then will not re light when called upon. Very frustrating and need to replace it!!
