Perfect bolt on fit for my 2004 Mazda Rx8 (6 speed manual) . Simple install and a serious torque upgrade, starting this car has never been so easy.

So easy to install, even when lying on a creeper with the car on jack stands. Once the bolts were loosened, the old starter just fell out. The new one went in just as easily. It appears to be just as high quality as the genuine Mazda part, but for about 1/3 the cost.

I bought this for my 2004 Rx8 and it fit and works perfectly and 100% better than the stock one. I am very pleased so far, I've had it for more than 6 months using it everyday, even in the cold it starts right up. It spins twice as fast as the stock Rx8 one, so if your having starting problems with yours, this helps or fixes it.
