Q: How can i get replacement filters for my ao smith advanced under sink water filter system? amazon says that it cannot ship them to california.

Last purchased one in Sept 2022, shipped to CA; went to re-purchase today and Amazon indicated that it could not ship to my location (but could ship to other states).

Q: Is this compatible with the aquasana claryum aq-mf-1?

I have an Aquasana AQ-MF-1. The AO Smith replacement filter has worked as expected for the last 6 months - no leaks, same performance. For what it's worth, AO Smith acquired Aquasana in 2016.

Q: How do you know when the filter needs to be changed?

We put a date on it when we replace it and just auto-replace every six months

Q: Does this work to reduce pfas6 concentration?

This filter system is only tested and certified for PFOS and PFOA reduction. (NSF P473) Thank you, AO Smith Customer Care
