Does the job - well, it's hard not to as it's a simple ethernet adaptor extension for an iPhone. However, after just 6 months, it's broken. Loose connection? who knows. But £20 for this I would expect more than 6 months of usage. Poor.

Came on time and does exactly what it should do, quite expensive for what they are but others seem to be priced the same.

My usecase for this device is for troubleshooting networks. Primarily where the Wi-Fi is down and only a wired connection is available and I have been harassed by a ‘friend’ or ‘family’ to fix it for them. This is useful for having a wired connection from an iPhone or iPad. For general use a dock or hub would be more useful. That said it has come in handy but it remains a device I would use rarely so would look to a third party device like this rather than looking at Apple products.

Not sure whether it was the iPad IoS or my ethernet connection. It recognised the ethernet connection but just simply wouldn't connect.

sometimes does say "this accessory is not supported" but simply replugging it or attempting with a different iphone works

I use this so I don’t to set up my laptop to connect to get videos compressed to download to YouTube GREAT

Great product when you first get it, but unfortunately it doesn’t do great for extended use. I can’t get wi-if or regular cell service where I am and rely heavily on Ethernet, that’s why I made this purchase. However, after a month and a half this adapter has started to be inconsistent and doesn’t always connect to my phone the way it did when I first purchased it. I ran several tests to make sure it’s not my phone’s lighting connection and came to the conclusion that the device isn’t making the consistent connection that I need. If I could return/replace this item I would, but alas, everything stops working outside the return window.

This one really pisses me off as the return date just passed.I bought two of these because I tend to be redundant with things that i rely heavily on. One failed after a month, second one failed after a few days. Nothing wrong with the ethernet cord I was using as I plugged it into an ethernet to USB adapter (by Insignia) on my laptop and its been working fine. I'm waiting on two new ethernet to lightning adapters from a different brand which I hope won't give me any trouble.
