Easy to mount and seems to work well.
Very easy to mount on the ceiling. I was able to use the previous smoke alarms screw holes thanks to the options available on the base plate. The main unit just twists on or off the base plate, the battery is only connected when its twisted onto the base plate. Good quality device, seems to work well when i tested it. small red flshing light to tell you its operational still.

Hard to know when or if ever you might need a smoke alarm, but if you decide to, you may as well purchase one from one of the leading manufacturers.Easy to fit and install, the battery comes with a 10 year life span, however its not replaceable by the customer, so keep your receipt in case it fails beforehand .

Started beeping and would not stop. No smoke anywhere.
Why did you choose this product over others?:I purchased this in January 2023 for my Airbnb. It claims to have a 10 year battery life. It started beeping at 1am this morning waking my guests and would not stop. No smoke anywhere. Very annoying.
