Coffee Traders 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee 1/2 Pound (Ground)

I was very pleased with my coffe purchase. It arrived quickly and with out any trouble. I had been looking for this paticular type of coffee and was pleased to find in at amizon.com.

One of the few coffees that you can drink without cream. Makes a great "cup of joe"

Being a coffee lover for years, I enjoy trying new and different types of coffee. I got the 8 oz bag, and brewed a pot as soon as it arrived. WAY less than impressive. So I figured, ok, maybe a little weak because I was trying to stretch it out. Brewed a second pot a bout a week later at normal strength, and STILL thought it weak and unimpressive. I let the rest sit around for a couple weeks, and finally dumped DOUBLE the amount I normally use for a pot, and finally got a fair cup of coffee. Not great, not good----just fair. So----at about $8 a pot, and only ONE of those even fair, to me it's not worth the money. Much happier with the Jim's organic, 3 Sisters, and Camerons!!!!!!!

On the rare occasions I splurge on a treat like Blue mountain coffee, I expect a certain level of consistent quality. Perhaps its this batch or year, but the coffee tasted bitter and slightly over roasted, even after multiple attempts and brewing techniques (French press, drip, etc). Not the creamy rich full bodied flavor I remember. Akin to a premium cup at at the local coffee house.

I splurged and got this for Thanksgiving after dinner coffee. I was expecting a really excellent flavor but found this coffee to be only ok. We used Poland Springs bottled water in a drip coffee maker so it wasn't the water. The coffee was smooth as expected but didn't have the flavor I remembered with another Blue Mountain purchase I made years ago. I wonder if it's because it was shipped pre-ground and not beans as I kind of expected. At this price, Newman's Organic blows this completely away and at a fraction of the cost, I will bring that for my next gathering.

My mother loves Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee. And she really loved this brand! This was a really good idea for a belated mothers-day gift.

This stuff is NEVER bad!

Blue mountain coffee is the best. The only problem with this order is that I sent it as a gift and it was supposed to be ground but it came in whole bean form and the people who I sent it to had to go out and buy a grinder. I don't like to buy gifts that end up costing the people, who received the gift, money.
