Schiit Vali 2+ Tube Hybrid Headphone Amp and Preamp (Black)

A great reason to buy this amp: Schiit Audio Products are Designed and Built in California and Texas.This thing came in probably the best packaging I have seen for a decent priced amp. Everything was snugly packed and cushioned.What you really want to know is does it sound good. Yes. This sounds fantastic. I love the way it makes my headphones sound. Pick a pair, they sound better run off this amp. What I like and what you like may be different, but this amp is the Schiit. 100% would buy again.

Wow... Tubes really do sound different -in a good way. I bought this on a whim expecting no significant difference from the Focusrite/Scarlett headphone output. The sound is just as clear but more natural. I also use PC equalizing software and with the Vali2++, the settings are much simpler.I'm Sold... Yeah, tubes need to be replaced every 5000 hours or so, but that is about 1 year of headphone listening in my case. The tubes are common and not expensive. I might get a few other just to hear the difference in tone. I've since puchased the Schiit Modius DAC and really like it. Great product line.

The product was clearly in used condition. The factory sealed label which specifically says "do not accept product if seal is broken" was broken. The wall charger had dust/debris on it, internal packaging was damaged. Totally unacceptable.
