Does what it claims in photographs. Slipped my attention that without the use of the lens the ball is dark almost black so it cannot be used at dusk. But over all a quality ball that can be used to prep my little player for the upcoming season!

When I bought it. The ball was overly inflated. Then when I deflated it the ball has an egg shape now

I got this as a Christmas present (I know... I’m an early shopper) who plays club volleyball. I haven’t inflated it or seen what it looks like in the light, so I don’t yet know if the pics are accurate. If they are, my daughter will be delighted. Too early to tell.

Completely misleading. Ball is black and doesn’t glow like the pictures. My fault for not reading the advertisement. Must by glasses to see the effect? Buyer beware. Returning now

Unfortunately it does not help when playing outside at night under lights/projectors in the park, the ball is simply dark brown/gray color, and will only reflect light if you put a flashlight directly from your line of sight into the ball, but the street lights do not make it more visible (it reflects light in a straight trajectory and not disperse in all directions which would make it really more useful). Also the ball is hard as a wooden ball - we all agreed it's impossible to play outside (vs normal pro volleyball which is lightweight).If it was at least all white, plus 'reflective' (the idea is good overall), we could see it when playing, but it's base color is dark :D no stripes, all dark color.

I really wanted to love this ball. I’m totally fine with it needing a light to really glow because I actually like the idea of a black volleyball. My pic shows the ball in my lap with normal living room lighting. However, this ball is too hard! I played volleyball back in high school and my favorite ones were the ones with the slight cushion. This one is so hard that we were only able to play for about 5 minutes at the beach before giving up! Very disappointed since it was so expensive! I could’ve gotten a whole volleyball set for just $15 more that comes with a volleyball. Maybe we’ll just use it as a soccer ball.
