Used it once so far during a cold/misty 10 mile hike. I had this handkerchief tied around my wrist so I can use it to blow my nose and wipe sweat off my face. The material is very cool to the touch, smooth and soft.

It is a relief to have this on sunny days. I couldn't seem to keep my chest from burning even with SPF 70 sunscreen on. I hesitated at first because i thought it would be annoying and hot but it's not that bad. I can wear it fairly comfortably even on 95 degree days and it works perfectly to keep the sun off my chest. Like other reviewers have mentioned the knot at the back is the main issue I have and the reason for the 4 rather than 5 stars. I wish they would use a series of snaps instead so you could adjust it to different lengths and not have to deal with a chunky knot at the back of your neck. A design flaw for sure. But still better than burning. Wish it came in more colors!

I was surprised that it would feel uncomfortable since I do not wear scarfs. Friend suggested it and I loved it! Didn't even notice it was on. Light weight and kept me cool! Will buy more products!♡

Definitely recommended, buying another. I used it the first time at the pool this weekend and I found it super useful. It’s clearly not intended to be your only sun protection in intense heat. That’s what sunscreen and hats are for. This is to assist. I used it as a neck scarf, tied around twice and knotted to the side. It covered my entire neck area. Then I used it to cover my face while laying out at the pool, as well as to toss over my behind when a family with small children sat down behind me. It stayed surprisingly cool (in Georgia, in 88 degree heat) and I looked super fly with the fuschia matching my swimsuit. So I can’t find anything to complain about. I didn’t expect it to save my life and wash my car. Keeping me safer in the sun and looking great doing it is enough for me!

I bought this to cover a new chest tattoo in sun. It works just as intended. I’ve never felt the sun penetrate through, the material is airy and soft and comfortable, doesn’t even feel that hot to wear in 95 degree heat. Would highly recommend for sun protection in any setting but with its high quality you could definitely use in an athletic setting and be good!

First of all this thing is GREAT if you have/had skin cancer. Not sure what the other reviewer complained about being not large enough? This is about 1.5 or 2 X the size of a regular bandana. Pretty big. I ordered two grey ones and use them anytime I go outside along with my other UPF or long sleeve wear. I wrap this around my neck so the bd k of my neck is protected. I still wear SPF50 lotion but I’ve had skin cancer and need all the extra protection I can get. I have also placed this on top of my head then put a hat on. The effect is my head is covered with the hat but then also the sides and beck of my neck are covered completely in UPF50. You could also use this as a face mask, bandana style. Or lay it across your legs/lap in the car. Many various uses. Highly recommend if your serious about protecting your skin.
