What a wonderful book! Thankyou Carol Maclean!I’m an avid reader and always keen to try a book written by a new author. This book was a delight from start to finish, well-written, well-rounded characters and a believable story-line. I was fascinated to read about WW2 in Scotland and in particular Glasgow. I was sorry to finish this book and leave all the characters and their lives behind.I’m now following Carol Maclean and looking forward to reading her new book in 2023, the next in the Kiltie Street story.Please read this lovely book, you won’t regret it!!

Loved the characters and the twists and turns that happen in all their lives. All the different personalities made the characters real
