This is lovely letterbox gift especially as an alternative to flowers.In the box you get some lovely flower stems that are really lovely colours, a packet of air dry white clay and some tools. There are some images in the labelling for inspiration.Essentially you use the clay to model plant stands and then whilst still wet you place the stems in the clay to dry. Once cry the will stand up independently.Easy and simple to do and something a little bit different.

I was pleased to try this 'BloomPost Bloom & Clay Blue - White clay with Dried flowers, 30cm height - Blue tones - DIY - Inspired by nature - Unique Letterbox Gift'. I chose the blue tones because I wanted the display for my cloakroom and that would match the décor.1. You get a nice branded, dark turquoise and white striped card container. It has a pull tag to open it up, like a book and inside it looks attractive, with tissue paper encasing the contents. Under that there are card dividers keeping the dried flowers separate from the clay, tools. and instructions.2. Unfortunately, mine did really not travel well. A lot of my dried flowers had parted company with their stalks and the mauve mini bulrush was missing its top, so couldn't be used. One stalk was completely empty of flowers, some had barely any flowers and while I was gently gathering them together, a lot more of the existing flowers fell away - they are so very dry and brittle.3. I decided that, although great in principle, making clay bases would not look good with the meagre amount of items left. So, I displayed them in a small bunch and bound them with sticky tape to hold them together and in place - they will sit in a small vase, with a narrow opening The clay will not go to waste, though, as I will be able to make some 12th scale paving for my dolls house garden - painted with acrylics after it has dried.4. The amount of clay you get is good and it is well sealed inside its packet, feeling nice, soft and flexible. After moulding to shape you let it air dry.5. I am rather disappointed with this product really. The whole idea of it is very good but mine was a let down.6. The current price of £17.45 is very expensive for what you get, in my opinion, even if the flowers that came had been perfect.

I have tried a few different items from Bloompost and this is the best one I have tried so far. It was fun shaping the clay and easy to stick flowers in the blobs. I was able to make a really nice, interesting display on my little shelf. I found the flowers were more stable if I cut them shorter, which makes sense, and I was able to cut them to the right size for the shelf which is not very tall. I am very happy with the results.

I really like this idea, especially if it were to be sent to a friend or loved one as a gift, however, as with other reviewers have stated, the box which this comes in is not suitable for the purpose, as in my kit, the heavy clay had slid around and damaged some of the dried flowers. There needs to be some way to add a further layer of protection for the flowers, as they appeared to have quite a bashing in transit.The clay is a white air dry clay, which comes with a couple of modelling tools, so you can create your own vase or stand and I had chosen the blue/purple hue flowers, but there is another colour available.At time of review, the kit is priced at just under £18, which seems a little expensive for the contents and it would be better around £13/14.

With this kit I was able to create a unique centre piece for my home. I chose to use the clay to create three different shapes and organised a few dried flowers I each. I was able to be creative. I think this is a great kit and a beautiful selection of dried flowers. Didn’t receive any modelling spatulas though as the instructions suggest had to just freehand which looks a bit rustic but charming

I saw this and loved the idea of it, as dried flowers can last forever and I love the idea of being able to order it as a direct gift for someone which could be posted through the letter box!However a lot of the flowers were damaged and falling apart and really there wasn’t many at all, even putting them altogether they are a bit of a sad bunch, the modelling clay and tools is a nice idea to make your own holder, but not sure many people will bother, so I think it would be better to ditch the clay and add more flowers to the set instead!

A nice range of flowers and plant decorations.Comes in a nice box that fits through the letterbox.Makes for a nice gift or treat.Convenient and good looking.

This is a concept much like that where you have fresh flowers posted through your letterbox, so an intended recipient would not have to be in to take delivery. I got these to review which may be why my ‘letterbox sized’ package came within a much larger Amazon box, that obviously wouldn’t fit through my letterbox so it went to my ‘safe place’ - I would imagine that if you order these and pay for them, that they would arrive in their intended packaging and will then fit.I wasn’t impressed with the pack that I received as a few of the dried flowers were quite badly damaged so had to be disposed of, the block of clay and spatula’s had come out of their respective compartments and had got in with the flowers - receiving them as a gift would have been disappointing. This issue could be alleviated by taping the clay and spatula’s in place and including a sheet of bubble wrap to stop the flowers from moving about - especially they could be pushed through your letterbox and fall some 3 to 4 feet to the floor.At the time of my review this dried flowers and clay set would cost you £17.46, which is quite expensive - especially when you are risking a ‘less than perfect’ gift being delivered. A good concept but the packaging needs to be reconsidered.

Bellissimo kit di fiori secchi per creare piccole composizioni da posizionare in un vaso, o in questo caso con una base di "DAS" incluso nella confezione insieme a due spatoline in plastica dura.Si possono mettere singolarmente o a mazzetti, o utilizzarli per decorare cornici, questo dipende dalla nostra fantasia.Io li ho posizionati in un vaso tutti insieme, con altri che avevo già, l'effetto è bellissimo.I fiori sono alti, con uno stelo resistente.Se tenuti bene senza toccarli o strapazzarli dovrebbero durare per sempre :)BloomPost è un'azienda olandese che si occupa di spedizioni di fiori, freschi o secchi, tramite posta; ma anche semi o bulbi, piante già cresciute o composizioni speciali da regalare sempre tramite posta.Se andate a guardare il loro sito ne rimarreste incantati proprio come me!Tutti i loro pacchi sono nel rispetto dell'ambiente e confezionati in modo delicato ed elegante.

Quando ho richiesto questo kit della marca BLOOMPOST, che grazie al programma Vine di Amazon ho ricevuto immediatamente, mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso, in realtà ci sono rimasta un po' male. La confezione è molto carina, adatta sicuramente per un regalo, è il contenuto che lascia un po' a desiderare. Intanto i fiori secchi sono arrivati in pessime condizioni (ho cercato di sistemarli un po' per fare le foto, incollandoli per la maggior parte), poi in definitiva si acquista un panetto di das e due utensili per lavorarlo, un po' pochino per 20 euro. L'argilla mi è sembrata di ottima qualità, in circa 5 ore si è seccata completamente ed ha assunto un colore bianco; abbiamo fatto dei gingilli, in un pomeriggio di relax con le amiche, e gli abbiamo "sparato" dentro quello che restava dei fiori secchi, delle improbabili decorazioni che sono finite in un cassetto, troppo brutte per essere esposte (ma siamo noi che come artiste non valiamo una cippa!). Salvo il packaging, elegante e delicato, ma non acquisterei mai questo articolo, soprattutto al prezzo di 20 euro.

Il colore dell’argilla è risultato bianco uniforme anche dopo l’asciugatura.Ho trovato molto utili gli utensili per lavorare l’argilla perchè robusti e facili d maneggiare. Sono riuscita tranquillamente a riutilizzarli con altri prodotti e per lavori differenti.I fiori secchi li ho trovati molto belli, molto ben colorati, con una grande varietà di tipologie che permette di creare vasi con contenuti differenti. I colori sono molto saturi e vividi, fanno proprio un bell’effetto. Peccato che purtroppo la spiga mi si arrivata con il gambo spezzato pertanto non l’ho potuta utilizzare perché non rimaneva diritta.La bellezza di questo prodotto sta nel poter scatenare la fantasia per creare i vasi di grandezze e in numeri diversi. Si può decidere di fare un unico vaso grande contenente tutti i fiori secchi oppure di crearne di diversi più piccoli, e magari anche con forme diverse tra loro, per contenere piccoli mazzi o addirittura fiori singoli.Rapporto qualità-prezzo medi. La qualità dei materiali è normale. Il prezzo di circa 20 € (al momento della recensione) lo trovo troppo alto per i materiali forniti che acquistati singolarmente costano mediamente di meno.Spero che la mia recensione possa tornarvi utile e... buon acquisto!!

Partiamo con il parlare dell'idea in sé di questo prodotto che forse é l'unica cosa positiva.Praticamente é una sorta di regalo naturale da costruirsi da solo e modellare a proprio piacimento. Questa idea non é male anzi, é molto bella e particolare peccato che a conti fatti poi il prodotto che ne viene fuori non é nulla di eccezionale.Troviamo vari tipi di spighe e fiori secchi da assemblare e collocare su del das che anch'esso troviamo nella confezione insieme a due utensili.Non sono molto resistenti essendo secchi e e tendono a spezzarsi facilmente, poi esteticamente quel pezzo di das sotto non é nulla di che tranne che siete dei maestri nel modellare e allora create qualcosa di unico e particolare.
