Extremely accurate. More than I really need but what a cool scale!

I purchased this balance to weigh gram quantities of reagents for aquarium usage and I needed a balance to accommodate container weight as well as the weight of the reagent, so having fairly high capacity was important. The balance arrives well-packaged and is easy to setup; plug in the power supply and level the balance. The balance calibrates with the provided 500g weight and I had no issues. The balance reads to 0.01g, but I would take this to be an insignificant figure. I weighed out samples that were on the order of 1.5g. I cannot comment on any other functions but this balance meets my needs.

I checked this scale with a weight set I have and it is accurate. It will fluctuate 1-3 hundredths of a gram during use. If this is a deal breaker for you, you need to spend a couple hundred dollars to get one that might be that accurate.

Recently, my manager requested that I acquire a scale specifically designed for scientific measurements. I must say, it has turned out to be an excellent investment! My manager cannot stop praising its worth and accuracy when it comes to weight measurements. I believe it will surpass all expectations and lead to some remarkable discoveries.

This is the third digital scale I've bought on Amazon. It's the best one so far, but still not great. It requires leveling before you can set up and make sure the measurements are correct. But the built in level is crooked- not placed correctly. So it can't level.
