Update as of Nov 13th, after having these since July and the season is officially over, the sole has cracked and don't withstand the heat like they did when I first got them. Would look at a different brand next time. These boots do what they say they were designed for. Easy to scrap hot mix off of with a scraper or shovel and can last about 300 tons worth of asphalt before I start to feel anything.Down sides, I wear 9.5 US men's in all my boots, these run slightly large, not a 10 and not a 9.5, more like a 9.75. They have no heal padding, need to wear thick socks which sucks in 100+ weather. The middle section where the laces are folds in and rubs against the top of the foot. They are black and you will notice it more towards mid afternoon. These are composite toe boots, decent job at keeping the heat off the bottom of the feet, but if any hot mix hits the top of the boot for any reason, you'll know right away.Only advantages it has over my Georgia's, is these are truly no tread at all and don't need to worry about get anything out between the tread and the heat rating.Recommend aftermarket heel padding and maybe upgraded insoles.Only had these past a week now as of the July 15th.
