Extend your existing irrigation system!
Easily extends an existing manifold supply line to another manifold installation! Replaces deadend cap by threading this in place. It then allows a slip fitting (cement to pipe) connection to next manifold!

These work great!
These work great! I installed an irrigation system in my yard and trying to find parts at the local big box stores was fruitless. Thankfully I found these on Amazon and they arrived quickly and worked great!

Good idea!
I had installed an extra valve in a manifold for future use. Since there was no sprinkler attached to it, I used one of these this along with a threaded cap to prevent water loss in case it was accidental opened. I also used one along with a threaded ell to do a sharper 90 than the standard fitting with a slip 90 which saved me about an inch of room I needed.

It's not leaking!
Well, it works, I needed them, HD doesn't carry them in my store (but they have everything else that this with this system you don't need). Hoping the orbit valve system holds up. Tired of wedding on irrigation stuff. Had 3 PVC unions break on the seam, which some how lead to the old valves (not orbit, another brand (RB), that lasted about 1½yrs) cracking and leaking and me throwing my hands up in defeat and starting over with this orbit system. So far so good.

Great for future repairability
I'm not a big fan of Orbit's valves, but their manifold system is excellent. You just pair these transition adapters with Orbit's swivel adapters and manifolds and you can put together a set of valves where you can actually replace a valve or a filter or a pressure regulator without the hours of extra work and expense of digging, cutting, gluing, etc. The Orbit manifold parts are basically unions that are purpose-built for valve boxes and allow you to easily remove and replace the components in your valve box. If you build your valve assembly correctly with these manifold adapters and a couple inches of extra PVC, then in the best case, you can simply unscrew your old parts and screw in an identical new part. In the worst case, when you can't find an identical part, you can still replace the broken part with something that's not the exact same length and also glue in a short length of PVC and a new manifold adapter. Either way, there's no digging and the cost is minimal. In the photo, you can see 3 of the Orbit Slip Manifold Transition Adapters across the bottom. They are glued to the white PVC pipes that go straight down and out of the valve box. The valves are Rain Bird 100-DVF-NPT and the leftmost valve is for drip irrigation and has a combination filter/pressure regulator.

This is the piece that you need to join two valve manifolds together
I needed to add a second manifold of three valves to an existing manifold of three valves. The manifolds were identical Orbit. This was the one piece that was not provided with the manifold because you don't need it unless you're joining two together. Easy installation, all good.

Orbit Manifold Coupler
Product is as advertised and does exactly what it is said to do. If you are trying to connect multiple Orbit manifolds together YOU NEED this part. No leaks and works as expected. My only gripe about this is I feel this part should have came with the Orbit Heavy Duty Preassembled Manifold. With that being said, you have no choice if you are trying to combine multiple manifolds, just suck it up and buy it. Due to odd pricing of the preassembled manifolds it was cheaper for me to buy 1 x 3 valve unit and combine 2 x 2 valve units for a total of 7. I used 2 of these couplers and it worked out great with no leaks.

Will work
I have not got all of the parts in that go with this. I haven't even recieved this part yet. I have no doubt that it will work when I get all the parts in to proceed with the instalation.
