Prayer: The Timeless Secret of High-Impact Leaders Paperback – June 1, 2008

This book can be instrumental in your walk of faith. It offers a practical guide to increasing your prayer life thereby expanding your power as a Christian. All the great Christian leaders past and present had one thing in common, a strong prayer life. This book is well written and easy to understand. If you want more from God, praying until something happens, is a good start.

I really enjoyed this book, but I more importantly, it caused me to take a good hard look at my practices, attitude toward, and dedication to prayer. The stories and instances of God acting on behalf of his followers throughout history and in the present day increased my faith that my prayers are heard and that God desires to answer. It also spurred me on to seek God's will for my life personally on a few issues that were cloudy. I think that anyone who is interested in creating a more real, felt, and effective relationship with God should read this. I will be coming back to this book for years to come.

Good read, really got me motivated to improve my prayer life. God wants to have communication with his children, and prayer is how we do this

One of the best books I have ever read on the subject. It takes a totally Biblical approach to prayer, with a healthy dose of Theology! So many prayer books are based on a devotional approach and tend to be a bit light on the Biblical underpinnings. This book really nails the need for prayer and underpins it with a solid Biblical foundation!

My prayer life has certainly been enhanced because of this book. But it’s not a great read— many readers get bogged down in the many many examples for every sub-section. And the same examples are used over and over. There’s a lot of fluff among some really good concepts.

while much of Earley's book and included examples are taken from great scripture passages, I am personally not too keen on the overarching use of methodology leading to success in a persons life.I do like the book, and believe many of the illustrations are accurate, however, I see an underlying premise that says, "if you do these things, you will also be a High-Impact Leader." For this reason, I am not a big fan.

This book contains both very good examples of prayer life of well known spiritual leaders and good instructions which can be used daily! Very good one to know the real power of prayer!

Every Christian must read this book. Although it says for highly effective leaders. We must understand we are to be leaders in all we do. Everybody must read this book.
