My bees love their new home!
Product is well made, definitely thickly waxed. I've had it up only 3 days or so and bees have already moved in, overflow from a smaller bee house I've had. I do like the fact that it has two options for nesting (tubes and wood block) and particularly the lower area to place the cocoons.Only drawback is the mounting hooks on the rear for wall mount - they do not allow the unit to sit flush against the wall, wobbles a bit. Further, I don't trust the hook and string system to hold the house sturdily.

The bees loved it!
I put this Mason bee box out for the first time this year and the bees loved it! They filled it up and preferred it another style bee box that I had below it. It should be much easier to remove, clean and store the bee cocoons this year since it is filled with paper tubes and a block that separates.

Seems well made
This seems really well put together and made. We are excited about hanging it up and seeing what happens. Really happy with the product.

Cute but my bees weren’t interested
Super cute and well made, but my bees wanted nothing to do with it

Beautiful and appears functional
Looks great and attaches to house easily. My bees haven't woken up yet, so I can't tell if they like it yet.

The right dimensions, but the wax coating seems to repel mason bees
All of my other mason bee houses / nesting structures are plain wood. This is the only one that I have that has a wax coating and it is the only one where the mason bees will not nest.Nice design. Well built. Best to shift to cedar.

Bees are happy
Bees are happily making new homes in this along with another made by this company. Holding up just fine in the light spring rains so far.

Looks sturdy but has a strong smell to it and not evenly coated
I bought this bee house to attract bees and ladybugs to my new garden. I was excited to get this item but when I did I couldn't help but notice a strong odor to the bee house. Not sure what it is but hopefully that doesn't deter the insects from the house.. another thing is that the beeswax it details it has is patchy.. the beeswax protectant isn't evenly coated and there are patches without some on it at all. I'm hoping this doesn't ruin the whole house due to the rain. I do like the little door it has because I can easily put honey water in there for the thirsty bees and it also keeps it safe from the water. overall the design is great but definitely could "bee" better lol It was also easy to hang up and has different options to hang up with either string, hooks, or screws. Screws are not provided but the string is included.. I gave it 3 stars because of the bad smell and poor coating, it's also nicked in a few places so let's see how everything holds up!Update: it’s starting to rot in the areas it was not coated on as suspected.. thumbs down
