My 2012 Ram 2500 has a factory hitch assembly with both wiring applications . I had to buy a "4 PRONG " extender from AMAZON to hook it up . Hope this helps . GOOD LUCK !!! **Q: Does the hitch cover work with the signal lights ?** A: It ONLY lights up when truck lights are on, Brakes are applied (brighter), Hazard lights are on (blinks with). DOES NOT blink when you apply L/R blinkers Hope this helps. **Q: What size hitch pin?** A: I'm not sure what size pin. However i have a normal size hitch and this fits standard I believe and may be able to fit in larger as it comes with some wedges and a couple of plastic brackets to fit around if I remember correctly. If you don't want an ugly wire over your rear bumper I suggest getting a wire lug extension to keep your rear plug stock but allow for it to extend underneath and tie wrap the wiring behind the bumper. **Q: Will this fit for a 2011 ram 1500 longhorn Laramie?** A: If your 2011 had a 4 pin plug & trailer hitch....then yes it will work. If you don't have a 4pin, then you'd need an adapter (4 pin to round). I had to buy an extension because '22 model plugis higher up on bumper ## Frequently Bought Together - Autogem Officially Licensed RAM Hitch Cover (Black) - Plasticolor 003860R01 RAM Logo Black Matte Finish Front Windshield Accordion Sunshade - Dodge Ram Black Logo Chrome Tire Stem Valve Caps --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.nl/products/416401197-autogem-officially-licensed-ram-hitch-cover-black](https://www.desertcart.nl/products/416401197-autogem-officially-licensed-ram-hitch-cover-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Netherlands* *Store origin: NL* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
