I suffered for almost 2 years with red, swollen, cracked, itchy, painful and severely chapped lips. I thought it was just a normal bout of chapped lips at first because it would come and go off and on, but was very unpredictable. I would carry chapstick around with me at all times and would coat my lips with every kind I could find, including all the recommended chapsticks I researched. That seemed to only make it worse and eventually it would not go away. I even had it on my wedding day (Thankfully not as severe). I read every single article i could find but there was almost no one out there that had this same problem. I finally saw my dermatologist multiple times and we brainstormed together if it was stress related, sun related, food related, and so on. He finally came to the conclusion that it was contact dermatitis from an unknown allergy. I had an allergy test done but it did not help narrow anything down. I switched every product I owned to all natural and organic including makeup, hair products, skin products, laundry detergent, fragrances, dish soap, tooth paste, floss, and even my husbands shaving cream! Nothing worked so I eliminated foods containing salt, spicy food, acidic food, gluten, all beverages except water and still nothing worked. FINALLY my husband suggested maybe it was beeswax or any bee product. I found this chapstick on here that was all natural, beeswax free, no fragrance and my lips cleared up in less than 2 weeks! I could not believe it. That was over a YEAR ago and I have not had the problem come back since. It was life changing and still is. I will continue to buy this product for life.

I’m a bit of a chapstick addict. Over the past year, tried to only purchase beauty and home products that are vegan and align with my diet. I had purchased quite a few vegan chapstick flavors from another vegan company, but they ended up burning my lips. I tried their unscented, and it worked well for me. I knew I didn’t want to buy more from them, so I was searching for a good unscented vegan chapstick. This had good reviews and I liked that it was a small business (ironic for ordering on Amazon, right?). These are like vegan butter on your lips. And it lasts so long! I will definitely be a return customer. The only thing I hope (and please listen!) is that you can start making them with reusable or biodegradable packaging. I hate that I just got five plastic tubes that will last on this earth until the end of time..

Best product ever!! I have been struggling with sensitive skin for the last 3 years, and in particular, my lips! I cannot wear any lipstick, and when I attempt it, I usually breakout with a horrible rash, that eventually turns into severe chapped lips. To make matters worse, I have yet to find a chapstick or lip balm to relieve it, until this product! I consider it, nothing short of a miracle...my lips were literally cured over night! I am forever grateful! Thank you! P. S. I did not rate the flavor or scent, because there is none - which is just exactly what I was looking for forever!

I used Neutrogena Norwegian Lip Moisturizer for years.. When they discontinued it I was left trying to find a replacement .. NOT easy when you have a multiple chemical sensitivity problem and have serious issues w/ fragrances and tastes. After trying several other( failing ) lip balms .. I found Alida Pure Fragrance Free lip balm.. THANK GOODNESS !! Both my husband and I now use this lip balm.. it has practically NO smell or flavor. The only complaints I have is that it feels heavier on my lips (which makes me more aware of wearing it) than my initial favorite lip balm by Neutrogena and it doesn’t have any sunscreen in it. I would recommend it though if someone wants a lip balm w/o an unappealing fragrance or taste. It came well wrapped and we received it in a timely fashion. Consider my husband and myself happy campers! Please DON’T discontinue!! 😉 I will be ordering more of this product.

Alida vegan lip balm is excellent as I get no reaction or rash from it, and it is a great moisturizer. My lips are allergic to anything with artificial fragrance. I also love how compact it is and easy to carry in your pocket wherever you go. I was surprised that I did not do well with Vaseline Lip Therapy Advanced Petroleum Jelly, and one of its ingredients is Flavor, so I'm not sure if that's the culprit. I just ordered more ALIDA lip balms!
