I liked the fact that this product was adaptable and functioned well to operate the carburetor on a truck I am renovating. It was a quality product and a great value for money.

I've installed several Lokar cable kits over the years but thought I'd save some money by buying this knockoff. If you cut the outer cable housing to length it simply will not fit into the aluminum fitting. I have a dedicated S/S housing cutter and a Dremel cutoff tool, but even with perfect cuts and Earl's lube, the housing would not fit into the aluminum fitting. I had to drill the fitting 3/64" (.046") oversize to make it work. Compared to a Lokar kit, the outer housing is smaller and the cable dimeter is smaller. The quality is nowhere near as good as Lokar. I won't make that mistake again. Yes, Lokar is outrageously expensive, but in this case, it's worth it.

I had tried several stock type cables from the parts store they all dragged. Put this cable on smooth as silk and reasonably priced.

The price reflects the quality. I was able to make it work by re inventing the cable end. After numerous tries the cable would pull out from the housing. Spend the money and get a good quality cable. Chinese junk!

Works as should ! Good quality the Alan key supplied is poor quality and will slip but use a proper one and your good. For the price it’s as good as the more expensive ones as I’ve seen many in my trade
